    A huge THANK YOU to you Daisy for your very easy to understand tutorial; you are very clear, precise in your explanations which I translated thanks to Google translation since I am French and do not fully master your language.
    It is only happiness to follow you and to make replicas of this model (I am at 6 sweaters that I intend for needy families) Now I will make your houndstooth model. A big BRAVO and a big THANK YOU for your tutorials.

      Most crochet patterns seem to work in multiples of 12, so I would measure your collar, make a chain to multiple of 12 to best fit that measurement and start from there... that would be how I would tackle it anyway...

    QUESTION - for neck you base it on 64 rows for the size you are making. Is there a chart that shows number of rows for larger sizes? You put markers in particular places but that would change with a larger size?

  • @kathymackay1623
    @kathymackay1623 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    I was following the written instructions and, for the bodice, working one stitch in each stitch and two stitches into each corner chain-2 space does not mathematically work out to be an increase of 4 stitches per round, but 8 stitches per round. There’s no written instruction to skip a stitch so I came here and see that you are indeed skipping the first stitch after each corner, but unless I missed it, there’s no mention of it.

  • @520918
    @520918 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Your projects are beautiful. Your instruction is clear, easy to follow. I've done three baby swearters following your instruction, including this one. They are so cute! However, one thing has been puzzling me: Your swearter arms are naturally pointing downwards but mine are almost level/horizontal (i.e., body and arms appear in T-shape). I wonder why.

    Great sweater pattern, i love the look. If you ch2 then hdc2 in the first st (of the first hdc round) but hdc1,ch2,hdc1 in the other corners, how can you get the same amount of stitches between the chains? I'm working on a base of 80sc increasing at stitch 16 and 24 (x2).

    I didn't see a gauge in your pattern. I used a 5mm but your stitch looks looser than mine. My collar turned out 11.75. somehow that seems small for a 2yr old, as his head is 17 in. Do you know what your gauge was for this sweater? Its so cute, but I wouldn't want to complete it to find its to small, as I was making this for my youngest grandson.

That was my thoughts exactly, and the color combos would be endless!!! I have made a lot of your blankets and stuff and your work is lovely! I am using Amore and Hobby Lobby Breathe deep yarn. Chain spun and velvety makes it feel more like a sweat shirt than your typical fuzzy sweater.
