Finnish Hot Sauces! A kind fan named Antonio sent us some fiery Poppamies' Finnish hot sauces! So, we put our TRYers to the test to see if they can handle these sweet heat treats in this hot sauce challenge trying some of Finland's hottest sauces!

Dermot and Clisare would make a great morning radio DJ duo. Would make the commute to work enjoyable. I love her laugh!
She does have the best laugh! It's like a subdued cackle, and she looks so impish and delighted when she gets going. Would love to have brunch with her.
Martin and Sean are a great pairing! I hope that Sean's soul returned to his body at some point. But the best part was when Clisare turned into Beaker from THE MUPPET SHOW in order to imitate Dermot! I laughed so hard I had to rewind the video to go back and see what I missed. Love Jamie, and Shannon continues to not like anything!
I had just come to the comments to say how much I laughed when Claire and Dermot turned into Muppets for a moment there. I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one.
Beaker came to mind as well. They're both a couple of Muppets.
In my opinion, that wasn't Beaker from The Muppets, but Helper from The Venture Bros.

Dermot's pronunciation is right, I would say, because even though we have a bunch of different dialects/accents/parlance across the islands, we pretty much all say some variation of "Car-bean"
That's because American culture and speech is not unified. Common misconception that we are some unified culture.

I don’t think that she doesn’t know what a blackberry is per se. I think she was just confused because she didn’t think it tasted like blackberries. But with her not being the sharpest tool in the shed and constantly portraying herself as a complete air-headed ditz, I could very well be wrong. 🤷🏻♀️ Also is there a video of her actually liking something she’s tried? Anything?! I swear that she has never liked anything from the videos I’ve seen with her in it. 🤣
That was correct assessment of hot sauces. They focus on EITHER flavor or heat. I have been known to mix a spicy sauce with a flavorful sauce to get the desired taste/effect on my tacos or burritos. I keep 3 different hot sauces and 1 salsa jar in my refrigerator at all times.
That seems like the best way to do it! I was hoping they'd mix the Scotch bonnet with the Caribbean and see if they could get something really good. I like heat, but there needs to be flavor with it.

Given that few peoples swear with the intensity of an angry finn, I'm not surprised that they make some crazy hot sauces.
They're considered the scary, drunk cousin of the nordic family for good reason.
That last sauce probably came to be that bad purely because the finn stirring the sauce stood there cursing up an absolute storm.

The blackberry stuff seems to be a rif on Raspberry Chipole sauce which when it is good, is brilliant.
Maybe 10 years ago I had a blackberry hot sauce. I mostly used it at breakfast. It lasted quite a long time, but I really enjoyed the flavor. It was very much like a berry jelly with a bit of heat (but MUCH better than those spicy jellies...bleh.) Raspberry Chipotle I first had maybe 5 years ago, so for me it is "the rif on" Blackberry hot sauce, but all the Raspberry Chipotle sauces that I have had have been more liquidy as opposed to jelly/jammy like blackberry hot sauce.

As we finnish people say the strongest thing we eat are potatoes so no wonder the first ones were kinda mild. Personally I'm a chili head so I've tried all of them and that 11/10 is in my daily use to have kick for my food🇫🇮🔥

I love the smoky reaper, scotch bonnet and fire demon. I have all 3 on the table right now. Poppamies makes great sauces.
The aged jalapeno has 0 heat but it has a very good flavor. Pappamies never disappoints. Recently bought their bourbon bbq sauce and it's quite good as well.
I also use the 11/10 on a daily basis. Love that reaper sauce. It also has pure chili extract in it. It is pure bliss. I rate it 11/10 on a goodness scale.
Love Dermot and Clare. I think you should have a "special series" where everyone brings their spouses/partners to do a reaction video with them

for those that know, the 11 out of 10 heat scale is a nod to the movie "This is Spinal Tap". in the movie, the volume knobs would stop at 11 instead of 10 like on normal musical instruments and amps. If you havent seen it, and are a rock fan, definately find and watch it. great flick and awesome to see companies do this as a nod to it.

Dermot said he judges people by their outsides, but I have a feeling he judges them more by what they put into their insides. For example, I think he's more apt to approach someone drinking a really good bottle of whiskey than someone eating peanut butter out of the jar. 😂
