It looks very nice! I do try to organize by size box and “families” but my number one criteria is number of players. It’s so helpful when I have to pick a game and go to the shelves that match the number of players, so easy and practical. Before that I would forget a game could fit 5,6 or 7 players, for example. And, mainly when my friends come I tell them which shelves they can look and choose from.
NOW you have to get one of those cool bookshelf ladders and do a Belle from Beauty and the Beast shot with those beauties! Also, that tree looks like a Todd to me.
FYI, it may not matter to you, but the L-shaped shelf pins are designed to hang down, not up. that way as the weight of the shelf pushes down, the L bracket is pushed out against the wall the the bookcase, which also makes the shelf snug and less likely to slide off. The small holes at the end of the "L" is actually designed for a small set screw to prevent the shelfs from slipping forward if they are too loose as well. with them installed upside down, overtime, the weight of the shelves may bend them down and there is a slight potential of the shelf no longer supporting it's weight....

Love the small game shelf, fits our room so perfecrlty. I suggest because its so much busier of shelves one trend in books to to sort by colour. Also for the top for reach/visablility maybe have some favorite big box games facing out on display. OR what I do with skinny books on a deep shelf is cut cardboard into strips that fit a few layers high so they cant get pushed back and sit in the front of the shelf'

I was so excited for this video and it did not disappoint! For the first time ever I was happy with an airport delay so I could watch. Loved this video and the shelves look amazing! Can't wait to see the reorg downstairs, maybe instead of a shelf you can have an entire section of opportunity 😂

That was such a peaceful video! In terms of small box card games for the shelf we recommend Skull King! It’s a fast trick taking game that ramps up with 10 rounds! There are tons of additional rules to make it harder too!
Lid lift on Vinhos is a thing...there's so much in that box especially after you punch it and organize it. If you find a way to not have that, share your secret!! 😁

Why do you store them in vertical position? I get itchy thinking about all the inside contents falling to one side and becoming a mess. The covers are already popping off on half the games. I've always stored them flat position. Great color choice of shelves! I think you had the push pins the wrong way though. I've always done them in down position.
Storing them flat when you have this many on a stack can be annoying to remove / place them back. Most of the lid lift you see are actually games that just come like that out of the shrink (Vinhos). We’ve never really had an issue with inside contents being an utter mess. And even if it is, it’s all getting placed out on the table anyway!
Saving this video for when people say a kallex is the best way to store games… Out of interest, why decision was made to store vertically rather than horizontal?

That’s a great idea!! It’s primarily just Jamie and I playing at 2p though so we rarely need to figure out player count restraints
