I'd add 6 Nimmt! and Deep Sea Adventure to your list. Those games, along with Can't Stop, were played by us on BGA or Zoom during the lockdown and created lots of laughter (and noise). I've wanted to play Mystic Paths for sometime and if I'm ever in a large group I'd love to try Fuji Flush. Great topic for a video! (P.S. Just remembered another one: Blank Slate, which I've only played via Zoom, is another game where you don't need to buy the box. I suggested it for a livestream one time and just supplied the group with 10 prompts and we were off and running! Weirdly fun.)
my wife and I L O V E splendor, BUT ... we just played Century Golem Edition and woooooow! it blew us away! turns are blazing fast, has deepr level of strategy than splendor without giving you AP. I said to my wife "ahem..I think this just killed splendor" and she qas like "yup, true, but I don't care, thai game is so good!"
Fun video. "It is from the 1800s or '80s, one of them." LOL. Battle Sheep is my go-to easy game that is a lot of fun. The components are incredible, and the area control is a lot of fun.
First of all , love your ROVE shirt Jamie! These are really great picks, looking fwd to trying out some you mentioned. I 100% agree on Can't Stop, Strike and Town 66. Waiting on Sea Salt and Paper. This week we played a card game called "Diamonds" that fits this topic of ...it shouldn't be good/fun but it is. It's a trick-taking game that rewards you for losing basically, played it at 4, but goes up to 6 I think.
I think Tsuro and rhino hero super battles hit this for me. I guess a little bit component wise but gameplay is so simple that you can play it with anyone and it’s just fun. And everyone we play with wants to go buy it and I don’t think we’ve ever played just once. It’s always like run it back
Literally my first thought when you said the premise of this video was that "Strike" should be there, and lo and behold... I can't believe how fun such a simple, almost dumb seeming game is.
@@FostertheMeeple it’s from Japan and there’s a new French version called Trio. I feel pretty confident that you will love this game. The Japanese version has really cute artwork, too.
I think Draftosaurus would qualify for way better than it has any right to be. Also, if we're looking at super simple, I gotta mention Similo. Also also, I'm curious if you've tried the Harry Potter version of Strike? I'm interested in picking that up, but wondering if the theme/added spells is going to take away from the sheer simplicity...
I bought dice miner on the recommendation of another video you all made. Good fun. Just got in sea salt and paper, can't wait to play that. Have you all played dead man's draw? Great little push your luck game.
I sometimes feel like I'm either from the 80's or the 1800's. I definitely experienced one of those two things, but no more hints. I'll just say I still think of Can't Stop as that brash new kid on the gaming scene. Really all I'm trying to say is that I'm super old.
Games that don't sound fun, or shouldn't be good, from the description: (in order of surprising / fun) Telestrations Just One Monikers Koba Yakawa Home Worlds
This game is really old, it's from the 1980s. Cries softly in my glass of Ensure.
Haha! I laughed hard at this. "It's either from the 1800s or the 80s..." 😂
We are both born in the 80s. Worry not!
I barely made the 1980 cut.
I graduated high school in the 80s. You two are my favorite board game show.
Bought Sea Salt and Paper because your recommendation before. It's my gf's new fav game. Love it
Yay!! Love that, thanks for sharing!!
❤

Wow, what a throwback. I played Can't Stop as a kid growing up, about 40 years ago. My parents still have this game, that's how hold it is.
Always a blast to watch you guys!!!
I cannot wait to find Sea Salt and Paper available!!!
I've heard estimated dates of July I think, but no luck yet.
Hopefully soon!!!

Have you played any of the other century games? We played golem edition ages ago, remember enjoying it

BATTLE SHEEP?!? Furiously googling
We LOVE Battlesheep!
Great vid as always and mad props for always do eloquently explaining how games work in such a short space of time *chef’s kiss*
Appreciate the kind feedback!
Space base ! It’s just drafting cards for others but building your engine is so much fun whoever win
Thanks for including the time stamps. It is appreciated.
Welcome!! Sometimes we forget haha
Dice Miner is such a fun game. Our most played game we picked up in 2022.
It really is!! We have a blast every time
We just got Sea Salt and Paper last week and it doesn’t leave our table. We are absolutely addicted, haha!
Jamie's love for Killer Klowns continues to be one of my favorite things.
It’s such a good movie

What a great idea for a video! My favorite fun one is "Impact" -- a push your luck dice game.
Haven’t heard of that one! Thanks for the suggestions
Bruno Cathala made a really great small card game with Sea, Salt and Paper. Love it too..
It’s incredible!
I hope that I also did my part ;)
@@Theo_Sacha couldn’t have done it without you!
Thank you so much for including Sea Salt & Paper ❤!
Thank YOU for giving us an awesome game!!!
Literally my first thought when you said the premise of this video was that "Strike" should be there, and lo and behold... I can't believe how fun such a simple, almost dumb seeming game is.
Same page. Twins
Totally with you on Dice Miner and Sea Salt & Paper. I would add Nana to this list, which is go fish + memory. Sounds terrible, but it’s so much fun!
Haven’t heard of that before!! Thanks for the reco!
@@FostertheMeeple it’s from Japan and there’s a new French version called Trio. I feel pretty confident that you will love this game. The Japanese version has really cute artwork, too.
Love Letter... 16 or so cards should not be as exciting, but we keep playing and loving it!
That’s a great choice!
I’m looking forward to getting Veggie Dice. Such a cute idea.
It really is!
Did you guys get more ink? When the tattoo tour video? When is Jeff getting the Fall Root map tattooed to full scale on his back?
We did! Haha that’s the next one
I’d be interested in a tattoo your too! I love seeing others art. Makes me want more!
Gizmos, point salad, and coup would be on my list.
Tak..an unexpectedly simple, but strategic game. Give it a try sometime. It's actually one of the games that got us into board gaming.
I’ve very much wanted to try Tak because I love name of the wind!

We have not tried that!
We love Harry Potter Strike!

We haven’t!! Will look into it! Thanks Chris!
Your play through of Diced Veggies on Twitch really makes me excited for that game. PS Jamie, I LOVE your shirt! ❤
She said thank you!

lol
Stew from button shy is a great filler game that plays really good at 2-players …and yes, it shouldn’t be as much fun as it is
Jamie just got that one!
Jixia Academy! We like pulling that one out for a quick fun game! Minimal components/setup! 🙌
Awesome!! Haven’t heard of that one, will check it out
Oh yay y'all got some of the tiny gum sized Pack o'games! I think I had mentioned those on a live Q&A y'all did a while back! They are all so cute 😍
Jamie is obsessed now haha
@@FostertheMeeple haha yes! same!
I think numbsters is my favorite buttonshy so far. Granted I've only played 5 of them but still!
It’s addictive!!
My entry to this list: Millionenspiel!!!
oh i see that Jeff has had an addition to his tattoo on the right forearm.. nice !
Thanks for noticing!
Magic Maze, all the way. I was so hesitant to get it, but it's amazing! (and silent ;) )
We’ve heard great things about that one!

I can never find fuji flush to purchase
It’s very hard to find it seems
@@FostertheMeeple Can this be played with a set of regular cards? Not that I'm not trying to support the gaming industry (I mean ask my closets lol)
@@tracieperez2629 unfortunately not, there’s an uneven amount of different card numbers in the game
I really enjoy no thanks simple yet fun
