29 years after I finally find the answer, thanks! So I guess I have to eat slower... BTW some times I also sneeze a bit, some times I also sneeze A LOT, I thought I was allergic to eating 😂
After 29 years, hell I'm 47yrs old and I have wondered this all of my life. Since I was a kid, if ate and got full, my nose would run and then comes the sniffles. Lol. I mean it's ok when you are at home around family but damn, COVID really made it fun for me. They finally allowed people to be able to eat in restaurants. Oh my God, my wife was wanting to tear the door down to get out of the house and away from the kids. So I took her to a restaurant that was open and the rule was. You have to wear a mask into the restaurant, once you are seated, you may take the mask off. I have always tried to be polite and when the waitress would come over to us, I would put my mask over my face, that's just the type of person I am. Well I was freaking starving and when our food came I was excited. I mean this was way better than Mac and Cheese and mashed potatoes every night for almost 2 weeks. Well I got full and here goes my nose and it was really going. The waitress just sat a couple down nest to us, well it was like 8ft away from us. But those 2 thought I had covid and started flipping out and talking about how I'm a P.O.S for coming out knowing I was sick!!! BLAH BLAH, right? It was so bad the manager came out and told me to put my mask on and exit the building and demanded my wife pay the bill. Haha, the joke was on them, I had the money to pay for the meal and the manager told my wife to come and get the money from me and here's the kicker. The manager told my wife that " HE WOULD BE WATCHING HER TO MAKE SURE THAT WE DID NOT LEAVE "!!!!! Oh when my wife told me this, I got very upset. By this time my nose had quit running and when I walked up to the manager, he freaked out. I could have had a freaking gun stuck in his face and he might have acted the same way. He started trying to loud cap me in the restaurant and the poor waitress was told to call the cops. Well now I am definitely waiting on the cops to get there. Well the cops showed up and didn't want to talk to us, they said they called so we have to talk to them. The cops come back out and start telling me how wrong I am for leaving my house knowing that I am sick!!! I said sir, I am NOT SICK!!! I said Officer my wife and I are the victims here!!! Have you once heard me sniffle once since we have been talking?? He said no but that doesn't mean anything. I said that was the whole reason I was rudely kicked out of the restaurant and then they did what they did to my wife ( no need explaining it again. ) . The cops said wait now what happened? I told them the whole story and the cops had to stop me in the middle. They said to us. The couple said that you had been sniffing the entire time that my wife and I had been there. I said wait, yall need to get your story straight here, that couple that started all of this..... They had just got there sir!!! My F***ING NOSE will run anytime I eat to much sir. The food was good and I was starting. The manager disrespected myself and my wife here. Now I am going to ask you again MISTER OFFICER, have you once heard me sniff even once while we have been talking?? He said well I wasn't paying attention. I said bruh, in this time of a covid out break, I promise your stupid ass would have heard me sniff one time of 10 times. You would have backed up and treated me like I had the covid virus. At the end of it all, the restaurant would end up giving us our meal for free. They even let me go back inside to explain to the couple who had my ass thrown out, that I was OK and that they weren't going to get sick because of me. This is the only time since I was a little kid, I got into trouble for a runny nose.
Man just got through eating and was looking up a lawsuit on TH-cam. I just so happened to be finishing my supper and my freaking nose like always started running...... So I thought I'd look it up, I mean how hard could that be, right?? LOL. I am 47yrs old and I have an issue with my nose running when I am done eating. When I was a little kid, I'd get into trouble for my nose running and having the sniffles in a restaurant. My mom for a long time thought I made my nose run on purpose. ( how messed up is that? I got my butt tore up in Dennys for sniffing after I ate. I can't remember how old I was but I know I was little. The only Dennys we had, it shut down in 1982. I was 6yrs old then. ) Fast forward its early 2021, restaurants are starting to be able open to the public. My wife was literally trying to break the front door down in our own house. Anyway it was a fun trip there and the mandate was simple. To be able to eat in a restaurant was, wear your mask all the way to your table where you will be seated. Once seated, you are allowed to take your mask off. Look i was having troubles breathing with the mask on but my wife was Ted this so bad that I suffered through it. ( I didn't know it at the time, but I would have a massive heart attack in the doctors office talking to my doctor.. I had a clogged artery called the Widowmaker.... Anyway that's why it was such a struggle for me ) My wife and I sat down and was joking with the next couple over from us. We were talking about how good it was to get out of the house and away from our kids for a little bit. That couple left soon after we got there and as they were seating another couple, I finished my meal. I was starving and the food was good, so I ate till I was full. ( I never thought my runny nose would ever cause another scene again!!! I was wrong. I got kicked out of the restaurant and disrespected so badly by the couple they had just sat down and the manager. The waitress said there wasn't anything wrong with me when I walked into the restaurant. The were accusing my wife and I for trying to skip the bill and called the cops on us. AFTER AN HOUR AND A HALF of talking to the cops. ( by the way, if the cops are called on you, the cops will treat you like crap. I told the cops that my wife and I were the victims here. Nobody was skipping out on a bill. I said I was kicked out cause when I get full after eating my nose will run for a couple of mins. Anyway that manager right there told my wife that I had better get some money or he was going to call the cops on us!! Well guess who had the money on them? Oh yeah, I had all the money and I was the person that was kicked out. Now my wife came to the driver door of my truck and never once did she try to get in the truck. We were talking about the situation and how much the bill was. The Manager then screamed that he was calling the cops on us. I told my wife to get in the truck and we would wait for then to get there at that point. My wife had the check and my ATM card in her hand. Whe. It was said and done, the manager gave us our meal for free and apologized for his actions. I went inside and explained to the couple that I had some kind of condition that made my nose run whenever I got full after eating. So much trouble over a running nose!!!! Now I am glad to know why it does this. Thank you so much and I'm sorry for such a long post,.I just figured it is funny that a runny nose could cause so much trouble.

I have the runny nose and the hiccups sometimes. It’s funny how our bodies work.
Thank s for your information .
I get runny nose from certain foods. Sometimes first cup of coffee in morning. Definitely not just having to do with being full
Thank you, I thought it was allergies...
