HOW CAN LEBRON HAVE A BETTER CARRIER, PLAYING FOR 21 YEARS WITH 3 GIVEN RINGS AND A FAKE MICKEY MOUSE TROPHY WITH MULTIPLE SUPERSTARS HELP.... HIS STATS IS ONLY BECAUSE OF HIS LONGEVITY, NOT BECAUSE HE'S THAT GREAT.

Maywood is the most slept-on and renowned basketball mecca in the history of American basketball. It's a small village about 10 miles outside of the Westaide of Chicago but has produced NBA talent like currently Jevon Carter, HOF'er Mike Finley, Lakers Champion Shannon Brown, his brother Sterling Brown, Dee Brown, Steve Hunter, Donnie Boyce and of course, NBA head coach Doc Rivers, and is home of the the legendary highschool Proviso East. Somebody really needs to do a 30 for 30 on Maywood, my family knows Doc. Let me know how I can get in contact with him...
I think we should stop asking who the best player is in a team sport. No matter who you're talking about they had help. It takes five players at a time to play the game and one player does not score every point! So if you score 50 and your final score was 110 your teammates scored those other 60 points! So being the best player or having the most talent means nothing if you don't have a team around you to make you successful...We need to start asking who's the best teammate! Who do others want to play with. Who creates a winning atmosphere! Who is unselfish and puts the team ahead of himself...I'm sorry but if you only think of yourself and how many points you score ()Gilbert) I don't want you on my team! Do they make their team better! Are they a winner? I hear all this talk about how great this or that guy were but they never won! Or came close to winning! I'd rather be a role player on a championship team then a star watching the finals from home every year! Barkley bus driver crap! Who's career would you rather have...serious question...Barkley or Draymond....really....I know Barkley had the better stats and most would say he's the better player basketball skills wise but Draymond contributes to winning basketball...Barkley a beast...1 MVP. All Star. Great rebounder! He made one final and lost....Draymond....1 DPOY 4 championships with 6 trips to the finals....I know I'm one of one but give me Draymond's career in a heartbeat....so I ask again what difference does it make who's the best player in a team game?
I hate when people say LeBron has a better career than Jordan.. how? Jordan beats LeBron in overall stats, every major analytical metric, and has more accolades and awards. Like, Jordan has more championships, more MVPs, more FMVPs, more all defensive teams, DPOY, more stat leader titles, etc. The only thing LeBron has on Jordan is total career numbers. So someone explain to me how LeBron has a better career, *without mentioning total career numbers* , cause that's about the only thing LeBron has on Jordan.
I'm glad you said that doc when Pippen fans praise Pippen the Jordan fanboys get offended and they throw shade at the great Scottie Pippen it's like they are not sure about Jordan greatness
Most self-proclaimed Pippen fans aren't genuine fans of him. They just use him as a shield to antagonize Michael Jordan. If they could praise Pippen without taking shots at MJ, everything would be fine. But that would require you guys to be actual fans-and we know you're not. So...
Actually I'm so sure about Jordan's greatness I'm constantly in awe of how the Bulls accomplished not one but two threepeats with Pippen as the 2nd on the team. Pippen was great, but especially in the first threepeat he was very raw, and the team was far from stacked, and there's no way they should've won 3 straight. Jordan was unbelievable.
Is it better to be LOVED or FEARED because fear lasts longer than love… The FEAR factor is lost in the generational translation; in life and in sports; today, very little of a FEAR factor exists in professional sports. Another generational abnormally is the always popular argument, of who is the G.O.A.T, with each generation picking their own champion. If the selection is between MJ and LeBron, in the most important categories MJ wins; mentally, fundamentally, physically, statistically and was as feared as Mike Tyson, during his time. What always seems to amaze me is all the other generational champions that get left out of the conversation. At the top of the list is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, followed by Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, and many, many others. A suggestion would be to focus on each decade and/or generational player(s) vs. naming a G.O.A.T: NBA- Best by Decade: George Mikan - Late 1940s and 1950s. Bill Russell/Wilt Chamberlain - 1960s Kareem Abdul-Jabbar - 1970s Magic Johnson - 1980s Michael Jordan - 1990s Tim Duncan/Kobe Bryant- 2000s LeBron James - 2010s Giannis Antetokounmpo - 2020s so far
I don't like how the younger generation don't challenge Doc Rivers about the GOAT topic because it's not a landslide like most former basketball players think because i damn sure have LeBron over Mj , i think older players are just bias as fuck when it comes to Jordan.
Challenge him for what???? Lebron hasn't done anything in his entire 21 year career better than M.J period and that's a fact NOT MY OPINION. Lebron does win the longevity contest which doesn't mean shit especially if he's not the best player in the league let alone the world HE literally has lead the league in scoring 1 time his entire career. As a matter of fact THE LITERAL MEANING OF GOAT IS GREATEST OF ALL TIME AND HE HASNT EVEN BEEN THE GREATEST IN THE LEAGUE FOR DAMN NEAR HIS ENTIRE CAREER.
