If you want to get my free mini course with free videos on set preparation, mixing in key, where to set cues etc, go to this link:

In this video I will show you how to use loops to take your DJing to the next level. Looping in and looping out are must know skills if you wish to draw out your transitions and also create more time to tease in your new song artfully.
You will not find videos like this on TH-cam. Everyone uses controllers and sure learning on a controller is awesome, but you need to know how to apply what you learn to club gear where it's more about feel and doing things manually, on the fly, as opposed to doing pre planned routines and cutting the song to pieces.
This video, and a channel, is must for every DJ preparing to play in clubs!!

i haven’t been able to practice on a controller yet but i’ve been addicted to watching these tutorials i feel ready to try everything
You've got this!
Hey man, I just discovered your page and man you are great! You’re tutorials are really really helpful. I’ve bought some tutorial packages and stuff which were great but what’s so good about your’s is that you explain everything in multiple possible situations, you take your time, and you actually enjoy yourself and do a bit of live mixing! Keep it up!
Thank you so much I really appreciate this :)
I love how you are passionate about all this. Seeing you being happy after exiting loop and other moments in this vid.. damn dude :)
Its midnight right now and I'm 50 kilometres away from my controller but maaaan... Id like to hop on my gear just now haha :D
Feeling more confident just watching this
You are the first DJ page that is actually helpful and not overwhelming. Keep it up man, so good!!
Freakin love these and your infectious passion for djing!
Can I just thank you! I had a massive stroke 2 years ago which left me severely brain damaged, thankfully I’m still blessed with this ability 🙏. You’re videos make me so happy, I love your teaching style, it makes me really hopeful for the future. I’ve realised I’ve been wasting a talent. Namaste xx
Thanks for this message it warms my heart and I am glad I could provide you with some inspiration - no greater gift :)
I don't know what I would do without your channel thanks for blessing us with your wisdom
all of the positive comments and appreciate your humility in providing the support..
I’ve had a problem with mixing 2 tracks w vocals and your vocal video really helped me out as well as this one to give me more ideas! Killer video man, you have helped me so much, thank you!
Your videos are amazing and they help me, It feels like I'm being taught by an actual Dj and not someone who just knows how to use DJ equipment. I also love your passion and energy ❤
You are so adorable being happy about what you just did when loopin in :D
Thanks Hanna :)
Love using the loop to get ready for the next track
hey dude. I just discovered your channel and have seen several videos already, and you are the best at explaining how to DJ. I think it's the POV view of the DJ controllers, and the way you explain things, and then most importantly, your quick little review/summary of what you just did to emphasize the important points that make your tutorials so effective. I will definitely finish the rest of your videos and purchase your tutorials. Thanks so much!
Thanks for this video. I’ve been playing at home with my XDJ 1000 mk2’s with a XP1 for looping controls. And it’s so easy to just fire up a loop from the first beat with that setup.
But then I go out to play, and can’t figure out how to do this on CDJ’s.
Now I know. It’s the loop out. Of course it is. Makes so much sense
Thanks
Love your Enthusiasm for Dj'ing and Teaching, your lessons are Motivating. Thank You for your GREAT WORK!!!
Glad you enjoy it!
We bought our 9y.o. some basic decks for his 9th birthday, your videos are easy to follow and fun to watch mate....we're loving it!
Awesome! Thank you!
I am not going to lie, you are so good in explaining?! Amazing man
Thank you. I already incorporate some of what you do in many videos, but there's still so much helpful information.
I can only echo all the positive comments below. I got the full course after watching a few tutorials on TH-cam and I think it is worth every penny.
love this video, helped a lot and I can feel the excitement in each drop and each stepping going through this video. music is your passion for sure. Cheers!
this is a brilliant explanation. thank you. also that transition at 10:20 or so is amazing!
I'm obsessed with your videos and your energy! Thank you for pouring your heart into them, you can SO tell!
I appreciate that Lara, thank you!
Looping is great!
These videos are little golden nuggets. Coming from 1210s I'm finding the transition to digital a little difficult to master. There's so much going on, but learning these little tricks make a massive difference. Thanks Andrew, stay safe buddy
youre such a pleasant person, and in every video i can see how much fun u got with that what u doing. keep up the good work u helped me a lot already
Thank you so much!
Great tutorial. Looping vocals or a melodic stab etc was my go to tool when taking over from the other resident. Looping is also a great way to signify to the audience something new is coming. Or is it!!!!! Swapping the basses or phasing the tracks and loops is a great way to build energy. Playing at home is a fun hobby, but the tracks and mixing come alive when playing on a club system. It's great to see a pro teaching how to DJ correctly via mixing rather than effects.😀👍
Thanks Chris, I appreciate that alot!
Hey dude, just wanted to reach out and say thank you for all the tutorials. Your videos are really easy to follow along with.
I am a beginner DJ and your videos are doing so much for me to be honest. I very appreciate your hard work. Your videos are amazing!

Mate I've been watching your videos for a few months now and I'm still a newbie but I've definitely gotten good at mixing/meshing my tunes with the eq's. I love it! This video is gold..... Awesome job!!

Great 1st track ...
Quality house
Lots of love from India, keep making such awesome tutorials
Man, this is a prime breakdown and your energy makes it all worthwhile to listen to your teachings even more. Thank you for sharing. P.S. the Jagged Edge example definitely threw me in for a loop there...love that track!
I appreciate that!
Your energy is just amazing mate!
I appreciate that!
5:20 that transition sounded really good😌
Thanks I appreciate that :)
What a great bloke 👍🏻 loving the videos, so well explained and easy to understand. My new go to dj learning channel. Thanks and all the best from the UK!
Really helpful, was looking for these answers, thank you very much! 🙌
Loving your tutorials! You crack me up, too 😂
Oh thank you ;)
Hey great info on looping! Really useful as I am coming from decks.. Even better is your playing decent tunes in your looping tutorial!
Awesome. You got skills in mixing, explaining and a great vibe. Killer combo to keep the audience engaged. Thanks a lot. Subbed. Just got back into djing after 20 years absence. As a dinosaur I had no beatmatch, waveforms and no bpm indicators. 80 percent of my time I was just spending on syncing the tracks. 2 weeks ago I bought an flx4 to give the new mixing style a go, see if I want to get back at it professionally again. 🎉
thank you I really appreciate this comment xoxoxox
Love your style and love for teaching and your passion shines through...
Very slick, love it, i'm learning loads! Thanks

Most useful tutorial I've watched! You da man!
Glad it helped!
Ruddy awesome sir! Looping is such a handy tool
This was really awesome man thank you. I’m a musician and I’ve used loop pedals in my solo post rock act for years. Transitioning to DJing looping is just so natural to my style :)
god i love your energy, so adorable! I was smiling along with you throughout the whole video! sweet loops
Haha this is the way to watch them - with a smile - it also says something about you - you can see and admire the human-ness which means it may just reflect something inside of you - I am happy - thank you!
Love it cheers for Sharing. Top guy!
Great explanation! Thank you
Absolute genius !! thank you good sir !!
Thanks for putting out so much quality content. Your videos have really helped me improve as a dj. I love how you explain things very clearly and then show examples of the techniques in action. Breaking down how to get the phrasing to match up properly with looping in and out was really helpful in this tutorial. Also, just love your energy and excitement in all your videos!
Love this tutorial. Thanks bro for the lesson. Time to get to work.
Andrews the best man
Thanks David I appreciate that :)
I now see the value of using the loop in and out buttons vs the pads. I was always using the pad and engage the loop b then switch tit eh fix pads which works but it’s completely make’s impossible to uses fix and engage the loop at the same time. making my life all hard lol 😂
Thanks Andrew, again spot on. I found this video really really helpful!
me to
so freaking amazing thank you dude
Feeling enlightened. Cheers pal. X
He man, great video. Could you tell me which song is coming in at 12.03? Thanks!

Don’t know how to thank you man, you’re awesome !!!
Means the world to me, thank you

As a deep house do learning to use looping in and out transformed the quality of my mix cds. Great video buddy 👍

greetz from belgium
P.s : the sentence on your tshirt doesnt mean anything in french :D
Thank you this was really helpful
Recommend discovered your channel, love the enthusiasm and excitement you bring to the videos. Absolutely authentic and nothing beats that. Do you have a residency in a club in Sydney? I'd love to come see you play, clearly you're a matter of your craft and it'd be great to see you work the magic with a crowd🤙
Awesome, thank you!
Love the video, what’s the track id on the first two tunes, one is camelphat what’s the other one
I just came across your tutorials and I love them! Just think it can get a little hard to listen to what you're saying while the music's playling pretty loud sometimes. Maybe keep that in mind;) Greetings from Germany!
Beauty 6:03👌🏼👌🏼
Love your content! Quick question.. At 10:12 how do you know at what moment to exit the Fisher loop to match the drop?
Love the charisma
another excellent tutorial well done Andrew!
This was so helpful. Make remake it. I’m sure you could make a short
out of this. Video
The best thing to do is pre set a opening loop area and a outgoing loop area just for emergency’s and reference points for standard whole song mixing. Make them and save them in your software of choice when your putting them in the library.
That's what I do too, especially outgoing.
Love you! 🖤
Love it bro
man you have too little subs and views for this kind of quality. one of the better tutorial videos out there!
Thanks mate, I appreciate that :)
is house easier to practice cue/loop mixes than hardstyle and edm? would you highly recommend doing that first?
I have one question. When looping in, how do i align the drops on both the songs? I mean when do i release the loops so that the phrases are aligned? I have tried it but in most cases its a few beats here and there! Learning new things from you bud
0:55 come in low and use the eqs to blend in
8:50 loop with just out button
sir, Like to see you. Yourself Enjoining Teaching. its a Cool thing
hey man, you are awesome thank you!!!
Your channel is really good and tune selection too! Lol
Wow this was realy helpful! Thanks a lot
Looping in is a great way to gain confidence on your first time playing with a cdj if you're used to playing with controllers since it gives you more time to beatmatch
As long as you release the loop so the song comes in perfectly - yes 100% :) You're the man!!
