Dan, with all due respect...USAID behaved like criminals. And it was most disrespectful to the American people more so than to the career employees. To spend our hard earned tax money on such ridiculous, superfluous things. Musk wasn't wrong here. It is abuse to say the least and the people needed to hear it and not a candy coated version.
I totally agree. Sometimes Dan seems so naive or totally blinded his ideology. I have heard that some of the money went to ActBlue and then back to Democrats for campaign support. Criminal.
Never thought I'd meet someone who was pro red carcinogen food dye, but here we are. She's truly insufferable. And that's being nice.
Literally can’t understand why any single person would defend big pharma and big food like that last lady. Cant take her seriously. Never will. And this is me being peaceful
How about only wanting things banned when there is actual evidence supporting a ban? Isn’t that important? Aren’t you against “fake news” and high food prices?
@ maybe don’t take her word for it and do your own research. Perplexity shows gummy vitamins, Yoo-hoo strawberry, dole fruit packs, etc with the dye. Why is she lying? Or even worse … acting like she knows what she’s talking about when she clearly doesnt.
Please keep repeating the same loser Democrat talking points. MAHA+MAGA= Greater than 65% of the country.
Go on and keep losing.
@@lauriloo38cshe was sperging out over red dye. Both saying it was political and she didn't like the scientific evidence used to justify it. Both you and her are missing the point, this isn't a who dunnit where we wait until we find the one and only one culprit that caused skyrocketing chronic illness, because it might be more complicated then a single cause.
@@lauriloo38c you’re that lady lol
@ no. I agree with her though. I’m annoyed Mark always calls on her at the end and then cuts her off. I sent 2-way suggestions for guests who can talk at length about the ways RFK Jr lies about food and agriculture but apparently that’s not happening in time.
Lady at the end was completely wrong about red dye. When I first started checking I was shocked at all the foods it was in. From my kids juice boxes, to snacks, chips, and even “healthy” snack bars. Always baffles me that people are so opposed to eliminating carcinogens from food.
She works for Pfizer ( at least, she did 2 yrs ago, when I met her at a medical conference in Phoenix )
Pfizer has been desperate to kill RFK’s confirmation, I know…..( Also, she wasn’t what I would call a “Conservative,” judging by comments she made about 2 Republican speakers we had )…
….Maybe she quit her job & changed her ideology
That John guy was painful to listen too.
That last guest from NY w/ the claim that Red #3 isn't in anything doesn't hold up to a quick search in Perplexity... It lists out dozens of products including gummy vitamins, Yoo-hoo strawberry drink, Dole fruit packs, etc... lots of stuff that people would give their kids outside of Halloween candy. It was banned as an ingredient in cosmetics in 1990... 35 years ago it wasn't okay to use on the skin but was still okay for fruit cups?
So strange, it’s the second time that person has been on to defend red dye.
Big Food plant
She's definitely a lawyer or lobbyist for the food industry. Reminds me of that immigration lawyer that came on here a few months ago defending illegal aliens. Embarrassing!
No, it’s only in hot tamales! Haha. What a complete liar. It’s in thousands of products.
@@SuperMayhem81 I can’t get over how strange of a position to take in the first place and then to go out of your way to make that case as publicly as possible…
Thank goodness for Dan - the first guest (John?) was clearly captured by his ideology. You can tell this because he refuses to acknowledge anything positive about Kennedy's positions. You can acknowledge the potential positives of a Kennedy nomination AND still believe the negatives outweigh the positives. Denying the positives and simply reiterating the negatives is unhelpful and shows his ideological capture. Dan is able to do both consistently and it is greatly appreciated.
Sean is a lickspittle for Trump. He’s petrified to utter ONE WORD against Trump. It’s very sad to see someone so obviously on the payroll.
He reminded me of Megyn McCain the other day. Both are so wrapped up in their feelings that they can no longer reason.
@@beamsgr many Democrats and some Republicans have been arguing for better nutrition and health forever! We can implement this now that MAGA “woke” up from their trans fat coma for a second. Fight for the good things Kennedy supports without all his baggage & terrible agenda
Wow the red dye lady spewing her propaganda had no push back. To say it's rarely used in our foods is abhorrent. Curious the connection she has to this.
She has been in previously to defend red dye and at that time said he was a nutritionist
@@Dcl24601 Yeah a """nutritionist""" for a big food company.
@@RAZGR1Zwhy is it you believe every lie RFK Jr says and the MAGA people on here but an actual nutritionist MUST be lying? Thats demented.
@@Dcl24601she’s not defending dyes. She’s defending truth and fighting against lying about food additives.
@@lauriloo38c she did defend red dye multiple times including by citing that animal research that shows cancer risk is not valid because it has a different mechanism of action. Her entire thing was about saying red dye is safe this defending it. It’s not necessary and it’s not safe. Mark should ask her about conflicts of interest if she appears to defend red dye for a third time given the misinformation she stated about the number of products containing it.
In the immortal words of Rush Limbaugh, the purpose of the guests is to make the hosts look good.
The guests on this morning’s show were very purposeful.
To the lady at the end: The International Association of Color Manufacturers thanks you for your service.
She gave great factual information. It’s sad your loyalty to a dangerous loon won’t let facts in
@@lauriloo38c Lol she's not wrong, but it's a bit of a weird thing to get worked up about is all I'm saying. Maybe she's addicted to twizzlers.
Defending food dyes is wild
That woman needs to lay off the boxed wine
I never thought I’d see the day when people are defending big pharma and food dyes. It’s insane.
She also said saturated fats and sodium were two of the biggest three problems in diet. She's completely wrong and clearly doesn't have a clue.
The guest at the end illustrates the difficulty in addressing the nation's health. She mentioned salt, added sugar and saturated fat as being bad. From what I have found salt and saturated fat are perfectly healthy. I think they get blamed a lot for what carbs, seed oils and other chemicals are doing. And her arguing for adding chemicals like red 3 to our food being safe was kind of ridiculous. We have a lot in our highly processed foods we never ate before. Thats bound to cause problems.
She’s just trying to justify all the outdated/discredited info she was fed in school to become a “nutritionist” - will blindly defend till the end.
Trump hanging out with the NHL team yesterday told me everything I needed to know. Noone threw a tantrum 😂
Whoever that first guest was on that show, you gave him way too much air time. People are sick and tired of the corruption in our government. Bobby has been a champion for the health of our nation. We have a catastrophic situation on our hands, and RFKJ is the only person who has the courage and depth of knowledge to address it.
MAGA for RFKJ.
It’s funny how the lady at the end said that FDA banning food dyes was lobbying and at same time doesn’t think lobbying in FDA doesn’t go the other way with harmful things that’s aren’t removed. Once again I tell people… imagine being on the side of an argument that is defending the unhealthiness of American society compared to the rest of the world. Yikes… tough spot to be in. 😂
@@oceanrheaful our unhealthiness is because of our personal habits, not from food additives and farming. But no one, especially MAHA, wants to take personal responsibility for their bad health.
@@lauriloo38c RFK Jr can do more pull-ups than you! Stop trying to defend yourself, we all know you are red dye lady. What a weirdly gross position to take - you remind me of those neonatal nurses who intentionally hurt babies, grotesque.
RFK isn't perfect, and there are plenty of things to criticize, but how can anyone be against more scrutiny on the food industry? As was mentioned: Health care--actually, SICK care-is one-seventh of our economy. Are we fighting RFK because we want to stay sick, because we don't want to eat more broccoli, or because we want to keep these ancillary industries alive?
The lady about the red dye needs to go to the store and read labels it's in everything. There is no need for dye in food and if it's used you can use plants like beet powder as a dye
Who employs Jacqueline? Why does she defend the food dye industry? Follow the money.
Sean is so right about the Mexican beer. The core of his base does not drink imported beer.
I Love how you guys are Buds and really respectful of one another!! Best news show EVER...❤❤❤
She is so wrong! Red dye is in a LOT of food products.
“I want to go back to Bill Cassidy, forget Bill Cassidy” 🤣🤣
I groan every time John is on 2way
The truth hurts.
@@maryrowles8934his takes are mostly bad, especially today about Cassidy.
Agreed, John Podhoretz is like a perpetually crying little girl. I know his work, he goes back to at one point writing speeches for HW Bush, but he has a voice for the written word, not YT.
@@maryrowles8934 John has a weak relationship to the truth, he needs to read the Trollope sequel to Finn.
Totally agree. I just posted commenting why. But whether we like him or not, he has the Commentary podcast 5 days a week for anyone that wants to listen to him.
RFK Jr. is the reason we have a clean Hudson River. “A force for evil”? Omg what is this man talking about.
49:28 - This guy is the worst. What a disingenuous liar. That's NOT what RFKj said, and he knows it. All he said was that a study showed that it didn't affect certain ethnic groups which seems odd. He never said it was engineered to spare jews. And honestly, the lady doth protest too much, methinks.
He did say it might be a bio weapon... Listen to the whole video.
@ it was a bioweapon. There's no other reason for the research. The final virus has zero chance of happening naturally.
Regarding USAID, the real issue is the money laundering aspect.
USAID doesn’t send the actual $s to these foreign countries, they give contracts to favored special interest groups that then use the $s to do whatever they do.
But because there is no accountability, the overhead and profit aspects of these contracts seemingly exist to enrich the special interests. Then these same special interests use a % of those $s to make campaign contributions, and the political money laundering goes round and round.
It would be great if the process you describe could be documented in an easily searchable database. Eg. money went to “X” country to promote “xyz”, who did that money go to? Not just a NGO, name the people that control that organization and what are their other sources of funding? What other projects have they done.
@ congress has tried to get that information, but USAID refuses to provide the information. That is why they were effectively reorganized as reporting through the state department.
Jacqueline from Manhatten doesn't seem authentic.
Just bc you don’t like what a nutritionist says doesn’t mean she’s lying.
Dan the man.. buy American.. problem solved.. make it here.. we have beer and whiskey in a America.. Trumps got this..
So much for peace love and understanding… letting John say that RFKJ is “pure evil” and not Mark just keeps agreeing with him! Geez!
More rope John?
To come to a conclusion Red dye is not really that harmful is not a contributing factor in health, then referring to only one Betty Crocker product contains it, a bit weak…just say you hate RFK and move on, people good grief….
@@jtremax we are about to see a lot of medical professionals get RFK derangement syndrome

@lauriloo38c you’re gonna have a difficult 4 years
Don't pick that last lady to speak again, Mark!!!!
This isn’t the MAGA channel. It’s supposed to be the place to hear all information to make educated decisions. So far, it’s been almost entirely pro-RFK even though anyone who understands these subjects knows he’s dangerous and shouldn’t be in charge of anything
If anything, this show is showing us the other side, loud and clear. As if we don't already know.. They are the ones who voted for the sleepy guy & silly girl.. :)
Ditto. BTW that nutritionist you don’t like and I both voted for Trump
With the presumption of Grace, I completely disagree with Jacqueline where does she get her information 😮
1:01:58 The “saturated fat is bad” myth has been debunked.
Plus she went after sodium, which poses literally no health risk to anyone with working kidneys, or without underlying cardiovascular disease.
Her lack of knowledge became clear right off the bat when she went after saturated fats and sodium instead of food dyes and ultra processing.
1:01:18 this lady is insufferable.
Don't have this ridiculous lady on again unless you are going to ask her who she works for. She is absolutely a shill.
The last guest ( the Conservative woman criticizing RFK ) works for BIG PHARMA….( Pfizer)….At least, she did 2 yrs ago, when I met her at a medical conference in Phoenix
Prior to Trump loads of talk little action!! Now talk AND action!!!
John is wrong.
RFKj has said that the vaccine was engineered & that inevitably, some races did worse, some better & some average. Who fit where is subject to debate.
Reference a point made by John.
I disagree that “every single republican” would have voted against RFK jr. confirmation if Harris had won and nominated him.
Historically, there always seem to be republicans who will vote to confirm democrat nominees.
Dan thinks it's profound to say that Trump "intentionally" didn't define victory beforehand. But politicians never defined success upfront and cherry pick and claim victory later. That is part of what makes government so attractive to some people - success is never predefined
Well guess what? All that Garbage and Cassidy voted yes!!
Schumer what a jerk
Dan needs to remember that, while there are millions of beer drinkers in America, and a substantial portion of them “prefer” Corona beer, if the store is all out of Corona, or it becomes more expensive then the other25 choices, the Corona drinkers will go to the next brand and forget all about it in 26.4 seconds.
Same with the avocados. Order the avocado dip. If it’s not available or has an up charge, then choose the queso dip and move on.
so the solution to a healthy food being needlessly expensive is to eat an unhealthy food. Which is equally expensive. Genius!
@@maryrowles8934 the solution to putting a tariff on a beer is that you don’t deprive your own population of drinking beer, you just raise the cost of THAT beer. Same with avocados. You don’t deprive your population of a dip or sandwich spread, just THAT one.
A masterclass on how to use targeted tariffs to ONLY hurt the targeted country and not your own citizens.
@ eating an avocado & eating a wad of melted cheese are not “same” and unless you live in a tropical climate all vegetables & fruit will cost more, all eggs will cost more -especially if we deport everybody in this country who grows & picks them, while simultaneously taxing us on imports & flooding the fields now with the reservoir water that was intended for drought management. you got what YOU wanted - and alas WE will get it good and hard
Love this podcast. So fair and balanced.
Bobby didn’t say vax was engineered to avoid Jews. He said there were generic differences in the way it affected people. BUT I know from colleagues that the bioweapons labs in Ukraine (see Nuland testimony) advertised for subjects of Russian ethnicity. So could be used that way. But NOT what Bobby said.
@@adek2989 correct and that was a NIH funded study that he was citing.
John is just an ordinary citizen with a poster of Engelbert Humperdinck in the background.
Force for evil?? WTH?
That first guest totally embarrassed himself.
It wasn't a popcorn moment. That's what makes this show different. That super ambitious senator is everywhere today, but RFKj's hearings are not about ambitious votes. People love him or hate him. They have their own opinions about food production. The doctor's vote is pretty interesting right now.
Democrats can't help themselves. Dan is the sole exception, most days on most issues.
This last woman is out of touch… not a conservative at all! We are replacing unhealthy America with HEALTHY America! What part of that can’t she comprehend???? She was just a big word salad 🥗
Offering a resignation option with a 6-month paycheck is another master class from the trump administration.
While it is administratively easier to have 10% of the workforce take the offer, the real issue is that when the workers are laid off and perhaps maybe a lower level judge awards damages, the administration will be able to establish that they were offered damages up front, and turned it down.
RFKs position gives hope that there will be protections from big pharma, that there are safety measures with adequate testing, no “2way” door writhin pharmacy and fda, drs having incentives to provide a new drug every other day etc etc. Not just about food
Horribly partisan guests 🤦🏽♂️🤣
The dem response to usaid is to say that they could find something equally terrible in the defence budget. Should we disband the military?
Dan was terrific today!
This guest is horrid. Typical BS propaganda about RFK. Can we get more informed guests on RFK instead of just having your besties on?
Yes!!! Mark always has his besties on, yet asks new guests to chime in, but doesn’t have them on.
Why won’t you allow truth to get in?
37:45 THEY ARE CRIMINALS, and their families should be made aware of it!!
What’s going to happen is that sugary drinks and food will be removed from food stamp eligibility. That’s the only way to reduce their consumption. Conservatives cried “nanny state” when Bloomberg and others passed soda taxes, but it was actually a smart tax.
Hopefully they do. IMO a tax is bad because it’s imposing on free choice of people’s own money. But food stamps are people requesting the gov’t/taxpayers money, so it shouldn’t be covering non-nutritional food.
I work in a potash mine in Sask, Canada. It's pronounced pot-ash, soft o. Great show guys.
Correct.
49:45 - John is misrepresenting the statement and context of RFKJ’s comment about Covid and Jews. He usually does better.
1:04:30 what misinformation? Never an example
This last speaker guest is pretty out of touch. Red 40 is very prevalent in a lot of the foods our kids are eating. RFKJ represents way more than a single issue, it’s a broader discussion about our health. You need to be way more informed about autoimmune disorders and allergy surges lady! This is pointless opposition imho
Megyn McCain and Tulsi, never seen a more beautiful unity party that actually is about American people.
Ok if the deal is no fentanyl and no Corona. I will take that deal
This episode made me anxious!
Good Show!!
John = 🤡...embarrassingly out of touch. Go read your novel again.
Agree 💯
He’s the nerd at school who realizes he got something wrong but their ego refuses to admit it
Red dye number three was still in thousands of products up until it’s banning. That last lady doesn’t know what she’s talking about. I appreciate her passion, but she just doesn’t have a facts straight.
Dan!
You don’t get to commit treason while collecting taxpayer funds… Then expect everyone to treat you as a kind compassionate person.
Just because you have a government job!
No, Dan .. They aren’t good people!
As long as AIPAC exists, the leverage will always be unidirectional.

Anybody that wants to listen to John Podhoretz tediously bloviate can check out his Commentary podcast. (Full disclosure: I often listen to it, though certainly not for John. Frankly I think it would be better without him.) I realize you had him on for mutual podcast back scratching but still, I found it a shame you took time from regular folks in favor of him. The guy has his own podcast 5 days a week for those that want to drink of his bilge.
Tell me you work for big Ag or Pharma without telling me.
This is a great platform. All three great communicators. I've come to accept Sean's interruptions, :) thanks to Mark. Some of those ones on the opposite side (won't say which) are difficult to listen to, BUT Mark, your intro reminding us to listen to the other side has had an impact on me, have to admit.
This lady makes the absolute best anti-Kennedy case I have herd. I support Kennedy, but one must realize the mass of lawsuits will be filed over every banned ingredient, whether it did harm or not. She mentions him being aligned with companies pushing nutrition supplements. Suspicious.
I think more like Musk does when it comes to DOGE. I have as much sympathy for the people who steal from me to fund their own lifestyle as they do for me. I don't care if you look hard enough that you can find something good that they once did
Hilarious discourse. "Red dye is in almost no foods! It's no problem, guys!"
45:22 Textbook behavior of when you know you lost the argument.
Agree. He seems very nice but bewilderingly annoying at times.
It's not Poh-tash, it's Pah-tash.
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL Bidon mount and fireplace SIR!
What caliber was it taken with?
Mark split the conversation effectively on Phineas Finn: if RFKj is voted in, it will be because of food production and vaccine health. Bobby won't be voted in because a particular senator is overly ambitious. Bill Cassidy is not trying to vote his conscience, he's trying to balance the positive vs negative. As a doctor, he has disagreements with the appointment.
It's not incursion if he's hired to do a job. Quit setting it up so he'll get his day in court one day....If I was hired to do the same thing, I would do it exactly how he's do8ng it. Very thorough.
Did that first guest never look at the polls while RFK was a candidate?? He had 3-7% national support through his entire campaign.
Thought did the Mexican president ask Trump to clean out the drug cartels? Military plane with sensitive listening apparatus on board flying in Mexican air space?
Tulsi for President
I don't think DOGE has referred to anybody as Hitler, Fascist, or racist.
This lady is extreme and anti HAHA. Thanks Matt for setting her straight.
These men should rob James O’Brien’s mystery hour idea.
guys it's pronounced POT-ASH not po-tash. great program as usual.
So much winning! Lol
All of the old pros like Podhoretz come on and embarrass themselves
I agree, but it is useful to have him on the show every once in a while. It reminds us why our politics are so toxic. It took him about 10 minutes to call Mr. Kennedy "evil." I'm surprised it took him that long. I give the hosts a lot of credit for not engaging on that remark, but to try to engage instead on substantive issues.

Barry the Rabbit was more interesting then the first guest. Rough.
Ole John boy is very unbearable to listen to.
There should not be security concerns. Shouldn't all that be public, ir's our hard earned money?. The ones making the most noise know what's in there and they know it shoulsn't have been.
