Just recently got this fuzz and it's byfar my favourite fuzz of all time. I had the la machine but this one takes the circuit and makes it even better by adding the octave on a foot switch and giving it a mid boost all in a smaller format! My only complaint is it does not have soft switches like it says. I emailed dan electro and they said it's a miss print and all the new ones will be printed properly
Have you ever tried the Fulltone Octafuzz? That’s the only one I’m considering over this fuzz but I can’t be sure
Yes I've owned it a couple times and it is a great pedal! But to get the octave to really stand out you have to turn the tone down and use the bridge pick up. On the 3699 fuzz the octave comes out easily on any setting and it also has a much more versatile range of sound. I'd take the 3699 over the octafuzz anyday but the octa fuzz was still great

I think I kinda want it! How's the noise? I have a Danelectro T-Bone and it's suuuper noisy.
The Food Series Danos were very noisy. This is built much better. I don;t have it but in every demo I saw it's not too noisy. Costs a pretty penny too.
I’m searching for an octave fuzz to use with my Jesse Davy mini Fuzz. Does the octave side work independently? Sound?

They did the French toast so I bet this is sick. My favorite fuzzbox for sure, I have a p2p clone on my board and sold all the other fuzz.
Great classically trained player, no doubt. But, manageable and fuzz pedal are negatively correlated. Defeats the purpose. The wrong genre was played for this demo.
smash mouth made a song using the OG fuzzy foxx. and in the demo he plays that song. so to me it was the correct genre but fair criticism
