That's not what its for...it's more if you are having trouble doing a workout you can know if you should actually stop vs if you need to just "get over it and on with it"

4,000 calories burned in a day is insane! I can't imagine how you guys have to eat just to maintain weight with all that exercise. For context, I'm on a weight gaining program where my target is to eat about 4,000 cals or so a day as someone who's 6' 5" 190lbs. So it's crazy to hear that 4,000 calories is just the baseline for you guys to make up for what you burn off.

I run, I cycle,used to do weights. Basically only individual sports. All great but there's no FUN in it ! You basically first race against yourself. Team sports are way better in any way possible !!!

I don't think the whoop is a good predictor for workouts and recovery. Some days I'm feeling it and my whoop recovery is at 25% but I still go out and kill it. Why should an overpriced hr sensor tell me how my day is going to be? "Never question free speed"
Kurt Metrose maybe short term you can get away with it but long term consistent lack of proper sleep & recover will catch up to any athlete! That’s why we use it, for consistency. Gotta keep the ball rolling year round.
