Going back over 20 years but when I was a 3.40 1500m runner would do crash training over couple days when double mileage and sessions - fascinated by threshold training as something has never heard of and def think far better way training and getting best out of session as looking back def did to fast a pace to often
GOOD TO SEE YOU GUYS ! I wish You all the best for 2024 Year. ❤ A lot of succes in Your's dubbing career ! ;) great vid as always 👊 cheers to You Tinman Elite :-)
Question... @ 2:21 you say training in your lactate zone, "is like way slower than what we've done in the past." For comparison, could you please let us know what those faster paces were? And/or what one of those workouts would have looked like? Thank you for the informative video!! Lots to learn in this area!!
Yo my g's what's the dope-ass song that plays during the first T session? I need it ASAP to make my own T sessions just as dope. Much love from The Hague, Netherlands.
Sorry if I missed this in the video but what is the total mileage for the day? 12 am (3+3 wu/cd + 10k t) and 14 pm (6 wu/cd + 10k at t with 2400m of jogging)? Marathon in one day? Ha
Sorry... Answering my own question.. I *think* from what I can work out, they're about 16% slower than 10k race PR pace for 10x1km and about the same 16% slower than 5k race PR pace for the 25x400m. I wonder how well that scales up for those running slower race pace..? 🤔 16% becomes quite a significant km/min difference as the paces slow, so probably not very well!
@@jsherrier1196 yes, I understand that, and hence the blood lactate test that's shown in the video. I was just curious how the paces compared to race pace.
Crazy to me that a group of “professionals” still need hand holding during their workouts. Most pro’s don’t even live in the same state as their coach let alone have them at every workout with a stop watch
Double Threshold training means double the laundry.
No
Good to see Drew training hard again. You all looked good. Can't wait for nationals
The legends are back, great way to start the year, 1st video of the year to watch. Good luck to this season ⚒️⚒️⚒️
my day is to someday be on a team like this one or even this one, I mean that would be insane.
Love this crew
Double-thresholds and lactate testing. The Norwegian method in full effect?
Banger as always
Amen to videos back again 👌

Love you guys. So glad you're back- all of ya!
Love your vids!!! Gonna be an awesome year ⚒️
We need to get team vs team events in track. I’m tryna see a pro dual meet versus like oac or dark sky distance or something from you guys
Penn Relays 4xmile
They would get destroyed by OAC.

Great vid
I could tell you did the 400 repeats at Sunset Middle School. I went there and did many a track workout there too
💯💯💯
Can someone explain why they did the lactate training if everyone is going to run the same pace on their "threshold" runs intervals?
not crazy about the rep sound effect
Where's the track at?
Can you buy the green shirt that Sam is wearing from adidas? I’ve been searching everywhere and can’t find where to buy it
What’s the name of the song playing during the 10 x 1k part of the workout? It’s a vibe!

How do those paces compare to your 5k/10k race pace?

@@neilcatley9474 you could just google their PRs and compare 😉
they're back???
so unbelievably back
whats with the blood testing?
Very popular in high level training now.
Lactate testing.
Liked for Joey and drew not Sam
