Current brain research is demonstrating that body-centered approaches to trauma may prove to be more effective (or at least an essential component of a holistic approach to trauma interventions) than brain-centered (eg. talk therapy) for precisely the reasons you are explaining. Trauma stored in the body. Thank you for your important work!
Exactly. I needed up here as I have lots of physical and mental trauma and did it all somatic practices meditation therapy etc and nothing is lasting or "deep" enough. I did a fascia rolling protocol once and saw improvement and wanted to get back to it now and found block therapy and I'm so grateful for having found this work. Fascia holds it literally all together and I'm happy to be releasing now
Just had an emotional release during fascia work. Wow! Cleansing. My physical release was also intense. See a practicing Myofacia person and get those knots unwound.
Hi, just to let you know your videos are very effective tool for me in educating my clients on the knowledge of fascia. Im a body worker doing Therapeutic massage using myo fascia release techique with my clients. I have helped a lot of clients set free from chronic pain. Thank you for all your videos.
If you’ve heard of German New Medicine you’d know this is where food sensitivities come from. If you had a trauma/undesired experience your body protects you from the environment at the time. (Smells, foods you were eating, location you experienced it). Going forward your body continues to try to protect you when eating ie) gluten.
I love this video! It was super helpful. I guess PTSD is more common than I realized. Maybe we all have some degree of this stored deep down. I'm curious, Quinn, if you felt the symptoms of it in your life. ...and how did your life change after it released from you?
Wonderful, thanks ! Is there any study demonstrating the change of collagen fibers configuration when manifestating angry or happiness or sadness or fear ?
What happens if you have a systemic problem and release fascia that makes the pain worse? Don’t you have to sort of be quite deliberate about where to start?
Hi there! We have many daily guided programs that are configured in an order for the best possible outcome. In Block Therapy we teach you to go slowly and at your own pace so that you don't overload you system.
Then you go to physicians, other “health care” professionals and those one is in relationship and few listen and validate what you are experiencing. You want to make changes, make improvements and heal. Your experiences are denied. It seems like the world is opposed to recovering however you want to be on a healthier path.
4 months after I started yin yoga (fascia opening yoga , if I am correct), belly button therapy , .. and lots of body tapping, Specially on my chest area due to COPD! But now, ( the last 2 months),.. I am having body vibrations and tremors, almost everyday, which is very annoying and scary!....why do you think? Is it possible that I have release old emotions in my body, and they are trapped?! How can I release it if it is so? Thank you so much . I absolutely love you so much 🌹
I understand that it can feel scary, it is new to feel the energy moving. I suggest finding a TRE, tension, and trauma releasing practitioner to help you self-regulate the tension release. The body naturally shakes as a way to release tension patterns and stress. It compliments fascia work beautifully.
Hi, I apologize for interrupting. My son who is 38, suffered at age 7 arterial venus malformation. They didn't have much information at the time. Long story short I watched him come back from a coma, slowly awakening yet totally paralyzed from the eyes down. His organs worked. Therapy saved him and he's living a normal life. Graduated University. Marriage and a kid. But now, his shunt doesn't work. He's having pain in his left eye and three doctors say it must come out. It might happen this way but I'm seeking and will not stop. If anyone has anything. 150, 200 years ago they were removing limbs. Why does it have to be this way in the 21st century?
I found this video on the search for more information to understand Fascia, have You researched Human Garage? They work with extreme situations hopefully they approach can bring your son some relief

Not that I am aware of. However fascia is fluid in nature - if you google Emoto’s water., you can see how emotion affects water crystals.
I 100% feel and see this
Thank you for watching! :D
Amazing video!
Thank you very much!
Great work
This is awesome!!
Thanks for watching! :D
My pleasure!!
Your mention of shaking reminds me of TRE
Hi Hannah! TRE is a very good practice and is a compliment to the work we do in Block Therapy.
Are the blocks on the left side the one made out of Cedar and right out of Bamboo? ??? Just noticing the left ones are more rounded.
Can you share some resources behind the statement fascia is conscious?
Hi Naomi, a great resource is The Spark in the Machine by Dr. Daniel Keown

Yes, see your point. Hope you kept walking your own path?
@@BrandyWiseNL Yes, one step at a time. Improved time management, ECT.
@@fitnesssoup7553 Good for you! Understanding the signals of our own body is so powerful. And gaining insight in the dynamics. 😀
