How long does it take for the mortar to set up? Is it possible to set too many pieces in one section too fast and have the weight buckle the lower runs? Or does the mortar hold most of the weight.

about within 24 hour ,you can set as many as you want , As you see I'm using a spacer so the space helps to balance the weight of the wall ,as well
