Thank you for the video! I had to remove the second row this weekend to pick up some very long flat packs from IKEA and was worried about getting the seats out and back in. It worked as you said it would! Thanks again!
You can remove the seats, but it is a little more work. You will need to disconnect the battery, then remove the airbag connectors under the seats. See following video: th-cam.com/video/7B_PY9eXAP8/w-d-xo.html
Hi, I have a 2016 Sienna XLE and am having a lot of trouble removing the center middle seat located behind the driver's seat. It is the one the jumpseat attaches to. I have taken out the jumpseat, no problem. I have removed the single seat behind the front passenger seat, no problem. But the center seat behind the driver's seat is a beast.... I cannot get it to lift out or budge! I'd appreciate a video on this or any help you can give me. Maybe reasons why it won't come out and troubleshooting how to get it out?We are moving daughter home from college tomorrow and it would be really nice to get that seat out. Thank you!
Gary thank you for good video. I am actually looking for same but about 2012 estima. I assume it is possible. Other question is - can you actually spin the seat 180 degree and have them back to back with driver seat in Estima.
Not to my knowledge because it is one piece I believe with the seat behind the driver seat. I think it's all one piece and there is just 2 tracks for that whole side. So there wouldn't be a way to get rid of that. The awd version would have a walk through.
Thanks, I no longer need mine installed in my xle but not sure what is involved, would like to sell to someone who needs it at a great price to them and yet help me offset some of the cost.
Thank you! Not sure either but probably because they want to have their own with their name and likeness on them. Think they assume that the salesperson should be showing the customer this stuff which doesn't happen many times. Thank you for watching
There will only be the track that the seats sit on. it's relatively small but is there. You can slide those all the way forward however so it gives a bigger flush area
What do you do if the lever does not seem to release all of the latches at once? We are driving a 2014 Sienna, and both of the seats appeared to have this problem. We weren't even able to get the lighter seat to come out at all. Any ideas as to what is going on? Thanks
Not really sure without looking at it. Usually it is pretty hard to hear if it unlatches or not. I would just start over by removing the center seat first. Then try pushing down on the seat and see if it'll latch back down. After that try pulling the handle again. You should be pulling the handle up like toward the ceiling and lift at the same time. Sometimes it'll latch back if you don't lift at the same time as pulling the handle. Hope this helps
There is. It's just not real easy to explain. I have removed the track behind the driver seat for a wheel chair bound customer. You have to take off the seats 1st of all. Them you have to take off the 2 ends of the track. There are screws/bolts in the bottom of the track which you have to losses the ones towards the back of the track. once you get it loose you can slide the tracks out of the back. You have to somewhat work the carpet up so you can slide it under it. Once you get it to the back of the body you will need something like silicone to help it slide. Just a side note, the slides are connected together by 2 bars which you will need to take off to make it easier. once all that is done you can work the carpet back in and reassemble everything. That's a brief explanation of how to do it. Maybe that can get you started good
Thank you! I have the seats out and am some what familiar with how the tracks look, Just did not want to start tearing stuff up if there was NO way to get the tracks out. Again thank you, and yes a video would be great!!!
+azure2win I have successfully taken out the slides out of the tracks behind the driver seat. it isn't real hard just a little tricky to do if you've never done it. I unfortunately didn't video it when I did it a few months ago. I guess I need to set some time apart to do it one day
Again - it would be great to see a video of this. I too want to remove the bar and sliding piece for the seat behind the drivers side. Leaving 1 seat in the middle section and a flat piece next to it - for dog crates.
Not sure what it could be. If it's rattling or something they may not be sitting on the track correctly. May need to take it to a local Toyota service dept
Thanks for this video! Planing on taking my girl for a drive across the good ole USA this summer and definitely don’t need the middle row in the way. Let’s Go Brandon! 🇺🇸
I bought a 2011 Toyota Sienna last week. I would like to sell the center seats to give me more permanent room. Could anyone tell me how much I should ask for them? They are like new.
+Michael Bey one side will be easier than the other. Make sure you take the middle seat out first or it will be harder for the side behind the driver seat
+The Fist Pump Guy the other side,2nd row-passenger side, of the seat, I unlocked half of it. But the other half seems locked in the bottom. I tried to pull it up really hard, but still couldn't remove it.
Thank you. If you ever find out, let us know. If we try (my husband is very handy, he removed the second row no problem but thought the 3rd row seemed more complicated), I'll let you know!
is there a way to put the 2nd row seats backwards so we can face the people in the 3rd row? I have a vw weekender and LOVE having the seats backwards for hang out sessions.
Jason Liwag Never really thought about it. I guess the tracks could be turned around on one side and it may work.. not positive though. The one with the middle seat might not work at all though. Thanks for watching and commenting!💪🏻👊🏻

Michael Ackerman Thank You! I appreciate that
UPDATE: AS OF THE 2021 MODEL YEAR THE SECOND ROW SEATS CAN'T BE REMOVED FROM THE MINIVAN DUE TO THE SIDE AIRBAGS
You can remove the seats, but it is a little more work. You will need to disconnect the battery, then remove the airbag connectors under the seats. See following video: th-cam.com/video/7B_PY9eXAP8/w-d-xo.html
And everyone shows how to take out the small seat ....I want to know how to take out the other one :(
This was sooooo helpful!!!! Amazing guy
Baldeep Singh Thank You! Glad it helped!

thank you. that was super helpful.
Is there any way to remove the center seat holder/cup-holder, to make a flat walkway in between the two 2nd row chairs?
Not to my knowledge because it is one piece I believe with the seat behind the driver seat. I think it's all one piece and there is just 2 tracks for that whole side. So there wouldn't be a way to get rid of that. The awd version would have a walk through.
Hi. I knew about the tracks but if I lay a cargo mat over them will the back be flush?
Hey Gary , can you do a video showing how to remove the Toyota auto access seat in a 08 sienna?
Craig Smith I wish I could but I’ve only ever seen one of those access seat Siennas and it was like a 2011 or 2012
Thanks, I no longer need mine installed in my xle but not sure what is involved, would like to sell to someone who needs it at a great price to them and yet help me offset some of the cost.
Can this be done on the captains chairs of a 2019 Highlander XLE? Thank you! Great Video!
Not to my knowledge.... at least not this easily
@@GaryPollardTheFistPumpGuy Thank you!
The back will be flush all the way up to the frame that the seats sit on. Hope that answers your question
Thank you very much, that's an awesome demonstration. Very much appreciated. Why doesn't Toyota link to your video, I do not know.
Thank you! Not sure either but probably because they want to have their own with their name and likeness on them. Think they assume that the salesperson should be showing the customer this stuff which doesn't happen many times. Thank you for watching
Awesome. Thank you for the tips.
very usefuul video
Hi. When you take out the second tow and stow away the third row is e erythronium flush or or things sticking up where the seats came out?
There will only be the track that the seats sit on. it's relatively small but is there. You can slide those all the way forward however so it gives a bigger flush area

Is there any way to totally remove the second row seat track from the floor??

if you take the seat track out can it be put back in to reinstall seats
Christina Frazier It can be. Just make sure you hold on to all the parts
Not sure what it could be. If it's rattling or something they may not be sitting on the track correctly. May need to take it to a local Toyota service dept
How do I install cover on seat track cover on 2015 Toyato Sienna
Thanks for this video! Planing on taking my girl for a drive across the good ole USA this summer and definitely don’t need the middle row in the way.

I drive 2014 sienna I have problems with 2nd row both seats make it noise.
I bought a 2011 Toyota Sienna last week. I would like to sell the center seats to give me more permanent room. Could anyone tell me how much I should ask for them? They are like new.
I'm not exactly sure. maybe see if they are being sold on ebay or something to get an idea
I did and they do have them on Ebay or Amazon. I put them up for 200. on the Nanaimo buy and sell site.
i can remove one seat only. can both seats be removed?
Yes..Should be able to remove both sides the same way
The Fist Pump Guy this is weird, I have tried a couple of times and still couldn't remove it. anyway, thank you for replying
+Michael Bey one side will be easier than the other. Make sure you take the middle seat out first or it will be harder for the side behind the driver seat

I need to remove all the seats with the exception of the driver seat from my 2001 toyota sienna !!!

+The Fist Pump Guy yes please or for an 2005
I'll try to remove the seat to shop an chest freezer, Thanks!
Could you swap the cloth seats model l
With leather le seats
Gary the fistFuggk guy
If you really wanted to instruct, you'd state what dimensions you get when the seat is removed. You are basically offering ZERO useful information.
is it easy to remove the third row seat? (the stowaway seat. We want that area for additional storage while traveling.)
I'm not sure on that one. I'm pretty sure that they can be removed I'm just not sure how easy it is
Thank you. If you ever find out, let us know. If we try (my husband is very handy, he removed the second row no problem but thought the 3rd row seemed more complicated), I'll let you know!

The Fist Pump Guy thanks for the quick reply. I guess I'll have to do more research. It may make or break my decision
Jason Liwag Yea. I can understand that. Wish I could be of more help
The Fist Pump Guy all good!I come with the hardball questions
Jason Liwag 👍🏻💪🏻👊🏻
