I think this is the only tutorial on YT. Big thanks. I didn't know anything except that the pink car was the fasted and there is a burst of speed that's dangerous to use. If you make one that goes into more detail than I am more interested. I just keep beating the first two tracks over and over and never get past the third track- exactly like when I played this game in the early 90's
This is a nice simple tutorial here. I feel though when you were addressing boosting, for example, you could have maybe added something like "Be advised that while boosting, it may become tough to steer." But that's just a small thing for me to point out. I'm wondering if you plan to do tutorials of some of the other games as well.
I am a master at the GBA games. But this game I can't even finish a grand prix. I just found out the blast turning is opposite from the GBA games. So no matter how fast I clicked in the turns with the Golden fox, It still slipped. But suddenly I discovered if you release the acceleration button. You get full gripp. But loose speed of course.
This is a pretty good tutorial, I learned a decent bit. One of my complaints would be for you to elaborate on the strafing mechanism. Do you want to lean in or away from where you're turning? Are sparks good? What are some scenarios where braking can and/or should be used? Can be braking be used to drift? How do you drift? I guess what I'm saying is that you need an advanced guide on the controls. Besides that, thank you for the information. Edit: Can you also help with pitching your vehicle? I feel that there should be more elaboration there too. Edit 2: Sorry, I also want to know how to start the race. Is it like Mario Kart?
You want to strafe in the direction you turn, you cannot use brakes to turn, and I have no idea what you mean by pitching your vehicle. In the race start, there is no boost if you time it correctly.
