The progression in this track is incredible. Each verse bringing a new instrument and flavour. Probably my favourite battle track and the field track is absolutely incredible too. South corel is definitely my favourite area because of these tracks, I can just walk around and battle for hours, so damn good!
@@SpyroulGamingI think rebirth beats it if only for the fact that they created both combat and world map tracks with the same melody and timing to run at the same time and switch them seamlessly in and back out of combat, so good
@TheDullsville honestly I don't think I've ever come across soundtracks like Remake and Rebirth. Out of the original games FF9 is my favourite but the Remake series as a whole has surpassed it. Both Remake and Rebirth have incredible soundtracks
They really blew their load too soon in the first part with epic soundtrack, I was worried they had nothing left to wow me in part 2. My worries were right until I started fighting in South Corel! What a TUNE. Instant classic.

FF16 won last year, I see no reason why Rebirth doesn’t win this year. Square Enix always delivers
The only contender would be Persona 3 Reload which also had an AMAZING soundtrack this year.
