  • See Neza Strmole - Slovenian firefighter and CTIF Secretary from Ljubljana - try the FLAIM Virtual Reality fire fighting training system, instructed by Martjin Boosman, FLAIM Europe / Middle East.
Realistic Virtual Reality Firefighting Training with FLAIM was demonstrated during the CTIF Seminar 'Fire, Rescue & New Challenges in Brussels", November 9-10, 2018.
”This virtual reality system has a real force feed back hose system, a heat vest and a fully functioning variable nozzle and smoke / flame calculation. The first of its kind to combine all these realistic elements in one VR-training system”, according to Martjin Boosman.
If you watch the video until the end, you will see that Neza is real tired afterwards, as if she was fighting a real fire!

Needs some tweaks with the fire behavior. But otherwise, it looks like it will help

Man do I want somebody coming to rescue a family member that has watched a video game to help them no way in hell.

It’s not meant to replace hot fire training. It’s a compliment

This will be good for winter months wear in some places in the training tower are not aloud to do live burn training in the winter months they mainly do them in the summer months because some companies don’t have a 100,000,000$ training facility
