This video provides an overview of FLAIM Trainer next generation immersive training tool for firefighters. This tool can help you to Train Safely, Train More Frequently and Train Anywhere.
We have built a VR simulation that places firefighters in common, high-risk and rare fire situations. With the immersive power of VR, trainers can teach firefighters how to carryout a dynamic risk assessment, safe personal approach and effective fire extinguishing tactics.
With FLAIM Trainer, firefighters feel the firefight with VR scenarios, a force feedback system, breathing apparatus, real branches/nozzles and heated PPE clothing. The trainee experiences heat from the environment by wearing the training tool's heat vest, while fully dressed in their normal firefighting personal protective equipment (PPE).
Fire, smoke, noise, water and fire intensity are research based and mimic what firefighters experience in real-fire scenarios.
