SOS fabrics (on Speedway/ Swan ?) What you're looking for is called olifin. Its a heavy, coarse cotton weave. If they don't have it, they can get it, or direct you where you can. They helped me many times in the past. (Warning!) It can be a bit overwhelming in there. There's piles of fabric EVERYWHERE!

Closest I found for the fabric is Hydes Leather 9002.S2, but I don't know about the texture. I don't think you want Olefin, it's a weave, not a perforation. What makes it a little difficult is that most perforation is a diamond pattern, not a grid. Like a ton of other people have said, might be best/easiest to take your trunk panel to a few upholstery shops and see if they can match it up perfectly for you. Good luck!

Sarah, in case you need to know for later, that "Steuergerät LWR" by Hella is the headlamp beam height control. From where I'm sitting (Zurich, Switzerland!) that drill bit looked like a tungsten-tipped masonry bit and not really ideal for wood or metal, but I could be wrong. Cool video and well done for the creativity you show for the seat delete!

Should consider a wall mounted fold up work bench. Folds up against the wall when not in use but fold down and can quick connect the vice or various other tools. Tons of design ideas and kits on pinterest and other interweb resources. I am actually looking to mock up one in my new shed (because I ran out of room in my garage too..) There are other fold up work bench designs too where there isn't enough wall to mount to.

Great channel, regarding the offset of the wheels, if OEM was 7.5j 32et , and these are 8j 35et, the half inch (12mm) extra width means 6mm towards the fender, the higher offset means 3mm towards the suspension, so effectively the new wheel is 3mm out. By adding the spacers, the new wheels are 13mm closer to the fender and 1mm further away from the suspension.

For a finishing touch, I'd add a custom 1 piece mat/carpet to lay over the top and cover the complete area. Getting it edge taped would finish it off. Get a Black & Decker Workmate. Bolt your vice to length of wood the same length as the opening. A couple of extra inches is fine (as always). The size I use is 3" x 2" actual. With the vice at the end it's good for sawing, but in the middle it's more stable.

Looks like a good start! That module is just your J431, Headlight Leveling Module. If you need to move it for better fitament, you can, just some double sided tape or bubble gum on the back to stick it in place and it'll be fine, no internal sensors or anything.
Vise on the ground way is better than the trusty old 'wood on your lap and pray you don't slip'!
The wheels do look better, even though I kind of hate spacers, I have to agree, smallish ones like that is worth the gain.
I was always bad at doing my homework, but I'll try. Do you think the front section of the trunk floor would be enough fabric? Maybe cut it from a cheap used one, and have an exact match?
