An idea is to grab an Explorer (up to 2001 model year) center console since u got room in the extended cab but youll have to swap to bucket seats.... the Explorer sun visors would be a good idea too ... 🙂
You have a bunch of questions to answer here on this video when you have the time. Here’s one of my own: how much was your tonneau cover? Are you super-happy with it? there are a lot to choose from, and a lot of different price points. How about those headlights? Any trouble, are they bright enough, are they bluish light LEDs or lower Kelvin? They’re now on sale “Sale Price: $257.99”. Did you get an aftermarket tailgate lock… I’m looking at them now. What about a vehicle alarm? Both of these items seem pretty essential nowadays! Just about to buy a 2011 Sport.
Hey there! The tonneau cover was around $200 at the time. After having it for a few years and it not being a super expensive product I think it’s great! Since it’s a soft cover it provides a lot of flexibility when you need to roll it all the way up to use the whole bed. I got the headlights at the “sale” price as well but they do deteriorate faster than I would have liked. One of the Drl LED bulbs burned out and the plastic on the outside has started cracking due to sun damage. It’s not awful so I don’t have any plans right now to replace but I would be aware if you plan on purchasing. I tried to get a tailgate lock but when I installed it I had so many problems with getting locked out and the key not turning. In my experience, aftermarket tailgate locks are cheap and unpredictable so I am avoiding them for the time being.
I have a 2007 sport 3.0 it still eats gas like its going out of style but it drives like a truck is supposed to drive, not your car ride style tacomas and other full size give you. Love my truck
Two years later, do you have any second thoughts on the Pioneer stereo? Was it easy to install? Best Buy has an open box for a big discount. I’m in the market for one.
$6,000 will probably get you something with 160-200,000 miles on it and probably some work to do. I love my Ranger so if you have some extra time and cash on your hand to do some possible repairs or upgrades you could definitely have a fun truck with that
I have had my 01 Ranger for 23 years then it broke down and I got a 03.
We need truck lore
