Unfortunately, that is a possibility. I do agree that Palestine and Hamas are not the same thing, but the possibility that some of that aid money will end up in someone's pocket that it shouldn't be with is unknown. I do wish everyone peace, but more oversight needs to make sure that money goes to non-terroist relayed activities. Also heard a sad fact that might be true. If some company/organization/country spends 1 portion on medical, one on weapons, etc.. and you send 1 extra portion to medicine for them, then they may spend your portion on medicine, but the portion they were using on medicine may slowly make its way to weapons too. Like i said, i want peace between them all and aid to go to its proper place, but that doesn't mean it will get there.
That's how it was before that as well. Where do you think they got all the materials to build the tunnels and assemble the rockets? It's well-documented that most aid sent there is embezzled and medical supplies are sold on the black market to buy non-medical things.
I mean other than the flaw that the *entire* reason Hamas is in power is because they enjoy overwhelming popular support? They were democratically elected. This wasn’t a coup. The people *want* Hamas to do what it does and then want to hide when they actually do it.

The flaw in Ireland's logic is that any aid sent to Gaza at the moment will have a near 0% chance of making it to its intended goal.
That, and on what planet did “Palestine denounce Hamas”? If there were a west bank election today, Hamas would sweep it.
I love this. This is both educational and entertaining. Thank you
