Nice demo however, i wish you would have demo'ed the acoustic sound as well, with a good mic, since this is a solid top guitar. You really just demo'ed the pickup and amp.
I wish they'd let us hear the acoustic sound through a decent mic. I'm interested in using this as an acoustic as well as electric. The ability to do that is a big advantage of having an all-solid-wood archtop.
These have a pleasant (solid top) albeit lower volume acoustic tone. An Ar610 (completely solid) will get much closer to an actual acoustic guitar tone. A 372 (all laminated) will not get you there acoustically. I can tell that this one will be a pleasant couch guitar.
I have to say, with beautiful used Gibson ES-175 and L4-CES guitars available for probably not much more, I’d rather have the real thing. The tone seems to dive from shrill to muffled. My L4-CES has much more range and depth.
I'd say this is the real deal a solid hand carved spruce top and solid maple back and sides with Lollar pickups. Be hard pressed to find a better sounding custom jazz box.
Nice playing and great tone !
Love them polished ebony fretboards. Makes it look smooth and played in and they took the time to do it.
Blue Bossa, beautiful rendition. Bravo.
Nice tone, I have an 805, it’s a favorite. The solid top make a big difference over a completely laminated 175 type. Feedback issues aside 😊 Enjoyed!
I've owned probably 20 archtop guitars (including a Gibson Johnny Smith bought new in '61) - my 805 kills 'em all.
I have a 810ce, with floating pickup, and it's a fantastic guitar 👌
I could listen to this all day, just wish my meager playing could do a guitar like this justice.
Beautiful guitar and excellent plraying!
May I ask that whether those knobs on the guitar are made by wood? Thank you!!
