Thank you so much for sharing!! We have very similar stories! My mom was in a very serious car accident when I was 8, she was critically injured and I couldn’t see her for weeks. That, paired with other abusive situations in childhood left me with a life long battle with agoraphobia and other anxiety based issues. At 40 y/o now, I also feel that the panic is mainly situation specific. My daughter is 14 now, she is just so loving and compassionate. My goal is to take a 5 he road trip to the beautiful panhandle and have family vacations. Actively working on exposure to interstate driving with my husband, trying to learn to cope with feeling unsafe and panic. Thank you ladies so much for sharing your journeys...makes me feel so not alone. ❤️😘🙏👏🏼

Thanks for the video. I think maybe when the wave comes and you breathe through it and it goes, that's a limited symptom panic attack. The feelings of imminent death are more full panic attack I think. I just find it helpful because lots of people today use the term panic attack and it conjures up images of ERs and ambulances, but what they really mean is that they felt less than ok and that's a huge range or possibilities and symptomology from heart flutter, to sweat to screaming to freezing and so on. We don't often discuss the range and I think that would be helpful. thx
