@@geminivega2219 Sony continues to design their Xperia phones with micro SD slots and headphone jacks. Just because wireless technology is becoming increasingly adopted, it doesn't mean you can't leave people the option to use wired technology and expandable storage.

Design, camera, performance, size, display and everything.
Only battery life is not so cool.
But overall... It's a phone you'll definitely be never disappointed.

Every comparison I see between an S10 model and anything newer always talks about how they prefer the center punch hole, but I really don't. And it's not just a slight preference for me. I much prefer a side punch hole. The ones on the S10s were obviously a lot bigger than modern ones, but in regards to the placement, having it on the side is just so much more out of the way and easier to forget about.

I'm from Brazil and I purchased the S10e this July 2023. I'm satisfied with both the photo and video cameras. Only the battery failed. What interests me about smartphones are the cameras. And by their tests the S10e was much better than the S23. Congratulations on the video and you gained another subscriber.

Gosto muito da linha S10. No meu caso, tenho o S10e. Sou apaixonado por este compacto. Gosto de smartphones pequenos e o que mais se aproxima dele em tamanho, são os S22, S23 e S24. Todos eles um pouco maior que o S10e. Quanto a sua pergunta, ainda tenho e uso o S10e, mas não é o meu principal. Uso ele como secundário. Gosto das suas fotos e vídeos. Principalmente a lente grande angular com boa qualidade. O que peca no S10 é sua bateria, muito fraca com seus 3000 somente.
Olha, para quem está com geana curta e não pode ter um smartphone de ponta, acho que vale a pena investir sim neles comprando nas lojas de troca usados. Mas aconselho a verificar a bateria antes de comprar. Agora, se você está com grana sobrando, vai logo na linha S24. Tem a opção também do intermediário A55 no qual é top e a diferença na qualidade das fotos é vídeo não tem muita diferença para a linha S24. Você só consegue ver a diferença lado a lado ou no comparativo entre o A55 e o S24. Se tivesse que comprar um novo smartphone hoje, iria de A55 com 258 g de armazenamento e 8 gb de ram, valeu! 👍

Truly an E moment of all time
Is it just me or do the images look more vivid and saturated on the S10e? Did you have the Scene Optimizer activated on the s10e and deactivated on the s23? Because that difference is really not normal in a phone that is theoretically better and newer.
The key here is the word 'theoretically'. Just because it's new doesn't equal better. You're talking about subjective taste (warmth, saturation, etc.) of an image. This will change when Samsung changes it's camera software. So there's no reason to think newer means more saturated. The difference that should exist for newer phones should be noticeable difference in quality of the image (i.e., not difference in tone of the image); and surprisingly there really doesn't appear to be much of, if any jump in quality between the S23 and S10e here.
I noticed that too. The s23 looked bland comparatively.
If I could only have one phone for the rest of my life, the s10e would be top two for that choice.

what was battery life like on s10e exynos? Got through full day use?
@@nivekking8198 I bought it in February 2020 and I managed to use one full day (4-5h)only for one year. After that time Sot downgrades to 3,5-4 h and now in 2023 the battery life is really bad and 2,5-3 h is the maximum what I can get

@paweln3590 yes. Massive in terms of battery life. And all round faster and smother phone. Also, it is noticeable improment on the camera. If you can, go for it. 👍
@@chriswest2290 should have set the battery protect on to not charge it over 85%. Mine still works great after 4 years.
The S23 would have been a good alternative to the Sony Xperia 5 IV if it had a headphone jack and micro SD slot.
Hey bro, what Samsung phones would u recommend in 2023, between the s10's to the s22's. That has a good camera, can last for a good time, can depend on it for speed, and good battery and performance in 2023. Looking a third opinion bro.

Having said that..I actually would not mind them having like a 5.7 - 5.8 body with the same screen body ration of the 23..that would be nice to have it even smaller
@@Spazzfrom.1989 I have small hands for a guy. With a case on, those extra 4 mm makes it slightly more annoying to reach across the screen with one hand. One reason why I'd consider an Xperia 5 IV or the upcoming 5 V. It's a 6.1" display as well but it's actually narrower than the S10e. Heck, the Xperia 1 IV is only 1 mm wider than the S10e and it has a 6.5" display.

Aesthetics aside, I just wish the back os s10 wasn't glossy and slippery, wonder is someone tried using some abrasive stuff to get it matte or brushed steel like finish.
If u compare audio 10e and audio note 10+ u I'll discover 10e is 0,01% better then 10+ . May be they share same speakers but for some reason 10e sounds very little bit better
Why did the s10e have more color in its pictures? It looked better than the new phone, im almost wondering if there is something with the processing of the image that the phone does that allows it to be better? 🤔
I bought a galaxy s23, and I can tell you that this video doesn't do it justice. The camera is absolutely phonomenal, and even putting the pictures on a computer, they look way better than an S10e.

Hi together! I'm a passionate S10e user. But with the end of security support, it's time to move on. I don't gaming. I just watch YT videos in WLAN. But I have 100 apps or so. 5 grocery store apps, 2 real estate apps, car sale app, plant searching, public transport and so on.
Now my question as a user but not a technically literate: do I really need S23 or would another Samsung like the A54 be sufficient for me. I want to see some progress by the change to a new phone but I don't need a high-end phone which is capable to controll the ISS. Would the A54 be a progress coming from S10e?
I use my smartphones as long as possible, so until end of security support and don't hop to every new model with every coming year. Thanks for each helpful advice.
My S10e battery is empty before dinner. So 50% extra power is really tempting. But that's all.

It makes no sense how the S10 have better speakers than S23 and you might be right. I have the S23 Ultra and music doesn't sound as loud/good bass as the Note 10 plus I used to have

When S10e release that time I still not really can afford it, but I do really like compact phone, that time I also like the Sony Xperia compact phone, finally now I can afford it and using my S23 now, really appreciate Samsung still don't give up compact phone, I living in Asia countries normally people more prefer big screen more than compact size, but I really uncomfortable using big phone on my smaller hand 🤣😂😅
I just bought an used s10e in January 2024 so far I love this phone its better than upper midrange phone that cost me like 600 bucks S10e is so good in hands and feels so premium and the camera is top notch

I have s10e and my girlfriend have s23. I did a camera comparision and in most photos s10e is better! Its crazy for me but it really is. Love my s10e❤

Still use my S10e, Camera is crazy good, sd card is a must and it has the perfect size, really. Only problem is the battery, its really shit now, and the phone is getting slower. But I gonna accept that until my s10e dies and I really hope samsung launches a very similar phone with better battery and faster hardware one day

The better comparison is between the S23 and the S10, they are both 6.1" displays.
The S10, S10+ (6.4"), and S10 5g (6.7") are all beautiful phones. They can be had for $200 - $300 in open box condition...and are very capable phones considering they are nearing EOL.
The S10e is the economy unit, lower quality display, lower quality camera, than the rest of the series.

The e stands for essential, not economy. It is still has flagship specs.
People deliberately bought the S10e because of the size, that's why it's an iconic Android phone. The S10 and S10+ are just normal phones, not special at all (except for the weird rounded bezels nobody really wants to remember). Now, with the S10e getting to 4 years and updates are stopped, people look to upgrade to a similarly sized phone, and due to the smaller bezels, the S23 (and iPhone 14) are good candidates. The S10e is closer in size to the S23 than the S10 is.

I have A40. I really like the S10e, I would buy it, even because it is cheaper, but both A40 and S10e are from 2019, so Idk if the upgrade is worth it. I never had an expensive phone, s23 could be my first one. I don't know if it is worth to pay more for a 2023 phone or less for a phone who comes from the same year of my current one A40.

Thanks. My S10e display has cracked and I've ordered the S23 - but I will return it. It is nowhere as comfortable to hold due to the sharp edges and the lack of headphone jack is still a bummer for me. I simply can't justify almost 3x the price of a NEW S10e, which is sold in Germany for 300€. Guess what, I ordered a new S10e and that's fine. Best phone since the beloved Nexus 5. Battery life never was an issue, real life speed is on par and the ergonomics are the last but most important point for a device that you have hours in your hand every day.
Same here. I have ordered the s23 and my hand hurts. The edges are terrible. The phone is so square and uncomfortable to hold. Furthermore there is nothing inside the box. No charger, no earphones. No jack, no micro ad slot. Just ordered standard s10. Hope it will last a little bit.

cameras on phones are getting worse i swear. all photos look so fake and over processed now, with no way to turn off computational layering. sad times.
Idk why somehow S23 looks washed out in this video but I know it looks better irl since I tested it on store. Must be in the editing process or something.
