What would you recommend for renting an appartment in Taipei for a long term? Did you use an app, or maybe you can recommend some agency?
Congrats!! www.591.com.tw is a go to site for rentals. Especially if you’re looking at long term (their short-term options tend to be very inflated) Based on our experience, getting an agent would be preferable. That’s because the listing we ended up loving was represented by an agent that forced us to use them as a dual agent and pay them half the fee anyway. So at least have someone who’s exclusively in your corner to show you as many properties as they can. That said there’s no central listing database the way there is in the US so one agent doesn’t have access to all properties that are available. It will take a bit of leg work!
