Question about that PowerDrive2 model 22110 .... If the batteries in the cart are NOT providing 48V (ie.. one or more of the batteries are dead), will the relay not allow the charger to engage? I have a Club Car with six 8V batteries... four of which show a bit low, and two that are completely dead.... and the charger is not turning on. Trying to determine if the charger is ok, and I just need to replace the batteries.
@@waynemartin.waynesgolfcart4900 another question it was COMPLETELY dead what u think I need to change but the fuse is good I just change the relay and the circuit breaker
@@waynemartin.waynesgolfcart4900 i just opened the charger up and the fuse that you replaced is good on my charger. Is just whenever i plug the charger to the cart nothing happens
When you plug the charger to the cart, does the relay in the charger click? With cover off of charger, plug and unplug the charger to the cart a few times, and listen if the relay clicks or not?
@@waynemartin.waynesgolfcart4900 refilled the batteries with distilled water, they looked pretty dry. Charged each battery with a 12v charger then hooked them up to the cart hoping it would charge but charger doesnt make any noise
Depends on which cart you have. On a club car is, with an obc, there is a fuse on the carts charge receptacle, there is a fuse inside the charger, and there is a fuse in the yellow fuse holder in line of the gray wire.

Replace the batteries, the problem is NOT the charger. It won't close the relay unless there is a minimum of 43 volts.
Good morning. Does the power drive2 charger turn itself off when batteries are full ? Is so what the amp reading should be ? 48v cart Thanks
Right before shutting off , it may be 62 amps, after it's off it should settle down around 51-52.
What is the specific fuse called that you’re replacing and do you sell them? I believe we need to order one for our charger. Thanks
Sorry I have no idea what you are referring to ? YES I have fuses
Do u have to plug it in to make a click from the chatger
Yes
@@waynemartin.waynesgolfcart4900 so when u plug the power cord in the wall it doesn't make noise until u plug it in the golf cart
Correct

Maybe your batteries don't have enough volts in them to trigger the charger
My charger wont shut off and is getting super hot ( i think it also overcharged my batteries ) any fix for that issue ?
Either you have 1 or more bad batteries or the obc us bad.
Know anything about 1995 club car wires/fuse for headlights
yes i do.
Whenever I plug it in to the car the relay clicks but the amp meter isn’t moving. Not charging the cart…can you help
with more info I could

Is there a way to bypass the fuse to see if the charger works?
yes, what fuse are you referring to, cart or charger?

What should be the reason when you put fuse n club car refuse to move and after removing it it starts to move
Not following you ?
What fuse are you referring to ?
What starts to move ? The cart is moving or a charger needle?
Witch fuse control recharging system

Fuse look like typical loose terminal. Localized heating.
