Performance slow down is no longer an issue on Samsung phones. My S10e is still performing the same nearly 3 years later.
My front and back has been busted on my s10e for three years it still works like new. I'm dew for an upgrade and of course these are no longer available
yeah they have been holding out well, ive been using my samsuns s8 plus for nearly 4 years now. time for an upgrade
I agree. My note 10 plus has done very well. There are a few reasons I just got an s21+, mostly the camera, but it works well still.
Same here with my 3 years old S10e. It's almost flawless. If it had better battery It would be the best value for money phone ever!

Flat screen is what Samsung should make on all their phones. Curved screen is of no use.

What game do you play on it?
Got mine last summer. Always had budget Straight Talk Samsungs up to this point, I ditched ST and went with Verizon and this phone has been the best phone I have ever owned. Awesome picture quality, battery is great (I usually have around 55 to 60% after a day of on-and-off FB and constant Spotify streaming), it's ridiculously snappy and been the least problematic phone I've ever owned. I can easily live with this phone for 2 or 3 years. I'm gonna have to live with it for 2 years anyways considering I'm gonna be paying on it for those years lol.
I love flat screen on S21+, screen protector much easy to find and cheaper also the cost of screen replacement is cheaper than its curved screen predecessor S20+ or big brother S21U
I got the Reg S21 and I love the phone. Got mine right at the new year and idc about the Quad HD display on a phone.
I've had mine for a year and it's a great all round phone. I have the exynos version and I have been really happy with it.

Most underrated 2021 phone (plus version)
I think this would be a great phone to buy in 2022 if you can't afford a brand new flagship. This phone now cost the same as a mid-range phone. Current mid-range phones have to cut more corners than usual in order to force people to use 5g and because of the chip shortage. Not to mention, some model costs more or is even straight up not available in the US. So, i think it better to buy a last gen flagship than a current gen midrange phone especially if you live in the US. This phone have great screen, great camera, and great performance and i couldn't find a current gen mid-range phone with all 3 of those features especially from name brands.

@@DeFacto1991 for better gaming i think you need your phone charged to 85% or above and while gaming, maybe to have better battery don't charge it the time you are gaming with it... Maybe cause of the lagging

I own s21+ phantom violet exynos version 💜, can't complain especially during the colder winter months no heating issues. 6h SOT on 120hz without dark mode.

@Rares Volanin ahh, when u charge it at midnight to 100%, turn off wifi,5g etc and go to 😴 I wake up around 7:45 in the morning and phone is 96%.

The thing that sells me on Samsung phones is the accessories market, while still remaining an Android.

I'm happy with my S21 5G it feels more premium in hand in comparison to S21 FE. Easily getting around 5 hours of SOT.
What about heating and camera
How are the haptics (typing experience) on the 21+ compared to the 21fe? I've heard the fe criticised for downgrading this aspect.

What youre paying for with the ultra is the larger storage option! S21 plus only has 128gig storage. I really hate that the new phones don't have the extra sd storage slot. My Note 10 had 256 gigs internal and I was able to add an additional 128 gigs in the SD card slot. Now I have to do a lot more downloading because the phone doesn't store near as much. Kind of cheap on Samsungs side. And have you noticed that they're not packing in additional stuff? it's just the phone and a cable.

Hey nick, great content and definitely gave you a thumbs up and subscribed. Out of the S21 plus and S21 ultra, which one are you using the most? The reason why I ask is because I currently have the S10 plus and I'm looking to either get the s22 Plus or the s22 ultra. Unfortunately the downgraded screen from 1440 to 1080 on the s22 plus is my biggest concern. Price isnt an issue at all. But I'm curious which one you favor even though the last 21 Ultra is much heavier.
Hey Ryan, thanks for your support it is appreciated. Based on what you've told me, I'd advise the Ultra. If you even have a concern about the 1080P you will notice it. Just go all out since price is not the issue, the S22 Ultra will be the better screen for sure.
@@nickackermanchannel my only concern for the ultra is the weight and how bulky it is. I work in the hospital so I'm always on my phone and holding it. Feel like I have to make a compromise here for form factor versus screen quality. That's why I wanted to see if you actually could see a difference between the 1080 and 1440 panels. Also, which phone do you find yourself using the most?

Hi Nick, most smartphones do slow down because of the updates. Its a way for manufacturers to make you want to buy the new ones. I just did a research of many speed tests of apple and samsung phones over the years and it is quite apparent the slowing down of the phones. Me personally have experienced this on the Samsung S10. The update from android 10 to 11 have made it so slow its actually slower than my s9 that only has android 10. (ex: boot time was 7 secs slower!) My father also has the s10 and he did the update and the slowdown of the phones is eerily identical. It even lags horibbily just typing text. not to mention the phone has gone a lot hotter and drain more battery. Note that both of us do not do ANY gaming or video editing. The stuff we do doesn't require high speed processor. We only do email, messaging, some youtube and browsing the web. If phones really are much much faster today, boot time should only be around 5 seconds. But reality is that boot time is always around 15 to 25 seconds and that seems to be the standard manufacturers set the phones to. If manufacturers did not slow phones down. Most people would have stopped buying phones around 2018. I really think around the Samsung S9 era fill the requirement for most everyday people.
My friends both have the S10 plus and have it on android 12 and have no slowdown issues. The only issues they have is due to sprint merging with t mobile. The texts and Facebook messages dont always send or send whenever. I got a message from one of them when they were right next to me.

Only Apple doss that, Ive had my S10 for 3 years now and its still the same as day one aside from abit faster battery drain per day.

I am very satisfied with the S21+
Bought it 5 months ago.
Still have my S10+ with the SD card.
Also i bought Google 1 for extra cloud for Google Photos.
So i never will sell my as new S10+..
That is still a fantastic device.
And using the S21+ as my dayly driver.
Never a lag or bug.
The reason i bought the Galaxy S21+ is because the Updates.
Going forward towards Android 13 & 14.

Also there is not much difference between the S21+ and the Ultra,only you pay a lot more for the Ultra.
I saw many reviews about both devices and i think you will like the S21+ better.
The Ultra is very big and heavy.
But it's your choice of course so I only give some advice for you,but it is your decision 👍

@@USMC19777 there are shortage issues due to the pandemic. That's why. It's harder to make new parts so they have to make priorities like the chip over a screen. The internals are the priority not the outside. Which is also why the 22 and the plus are basically the same on the inside and out minus a few things here and there
Night mode on my s21 plus exynos works like 2/10. It exposes for only 1 sec no matter how dark hence the outcome is terrible.
Maybe it's because of the video, but the S21 Plus's camera can't seem to get the colour of the wooden table right. Not even close!

Why does Apple never gives as much for the money as Samsung.i would never go back Android or Samsung but I do appreciate what they give to their costumers...but I prefer Apple and that's my choice respect that.

Great phone, but 25w fast charging, comon, its too slow. 1hour on wire to get full battery in nowdays is ridiculous, especialy while other brands in market offer half time of that. There is no logic why Samsung is so struggling with quicker battery charging 😔

Americans are lucky to get snapdragon processor in samsung phones. Here in europe we only get exynos processors in samsung phones which is real letdown. Snapdragon is so much better and faster.

I care about the camera and battery
Well thats a hard choice. The s21 plus has a WAY better battery at 4500 mah and the s22 has 3700 mah but then for the cameras they both have same 10mp front facing cam but then on the back the s21 plus has a 64mp telephoto with a 1.1x optical and 3x hybrid zoom, 12 mp main cam and a 12mp ultrawide compared to the s22 having a 50mp main, a 12 mp ultrawide and a 10mp telephoto with 3x optical zoom. Both with 30x digital. Honestly I would go with the s21+ unless you are really into the 3x optical on the s22.

S21 plus. The new snapdragon in all of the s22s makes the phone hot and drains the battery a lot.
