After using Android throughout and Samsung for last 8 years, I thought of tying iPhone. I purchased, used and returned iPhone 12 Pro Max within 2 weeks. I am glad that I moved back to Android and S21+. Getting my phone tomorrow.
Lol i used iphone 12 for 2 months lying to myself that i love it. I made a super impulsive decision to buy s21 since it was on sale
I did the same thing! Lol. All my friends said it was just bc I couldn't get the Mac/ Apple stuff figured out. I said "I've got a Mac book Pro laptop and 3 iPad mini, it's just the phone that is not nearly as easy or capable for me right out of the box!"
I just traded in my 12 Pro Max for this one. That phone has SO many issues.

7:23: this can be achieved by simply setting the screen sleep time to 5 minutes instead of 30 seconds.... not only is it much easier, it will also save battery because with the eye reading feature, it will frequently if not always use the camera to check if you are still looking...

Went from being an iPhone user since the 5 cam out and switched to an S21 5G this year. I gotta say, Samsung really holds their own! I'd say their only hold back is the OS. Android is cool don't get me wrong, but like Apple I think Samsungs own OS and UI will be pretty sweet in a few years ☺️
Instead of S21, I bought S20 Ultra 5G version 2 weeks ago & got One U.I 3.1 that day. Thanks for uploading this video. This tips are really useful. Liked it!!

I have a question please. I recently went back to a Samsung after having a Moto Z Play. I love the S21...I'm still learning all the bells and whistles...but I do miss a feature that I used to do with my Motp Z.
The scenario is I'm on a call with someone and say I needed to set a timer. While conversing, I would be able to touch the Google microphone button and say "Hey Google, set a timer for such-and-such minutes" or my conversation my be questioning how old is so-and-so...again, while still on the phone call I would be able to tap the Google microphone button and say "how old is so and so" and it would give me the answer while I was still on the phone call. I can't seem to find any place on my Samsung settings that would allow this. If you have an answer I would love to hear it!
Maybe try to make Google Assistant the Default Assitant

the notification flash is kind of useless. It only does it once and if you dont happen t be looking at the phone you will miss a notification. Check out aodNotify....great app that uses edge lighting or the camera to alert of notifications. It can be set up to continure to flash until you acknowledge the notification....
One problem with the one handed operation - if you have a game that has things along the edge, this interferes. I was playing a matching game where things frequently get stuck along the edge. Instead of moving the items, I was turning my flashlight on and off.
Go to the app and then find "app exeptions" just choose the game u want to turn off the side bar for and it will no longer be an issue for that game

Have animations turned on and the developer options for animations are turned off, but going back to the home screen there is an annoying animation that I cant get rid of.
They took out Smart stay? On s21. Really disappointed it didnt have this feature.

Does anyone know how to change the notification sound for certain apps? For some reason snapchat isn't doing its normal sound and neither is Facebook.. help!
This usually happens when using smartswitch to transfer apps from your old phone to your new one. Uninstall then reinstall and they will have their default sounds back.
No matter u screen shot anything you keep it no matter you delete from your end

You got a point, I didn't want to upgrade either but the only reason I did was for a bigger battery and my s10 charger port was broke so I had to charge on a wireless charger, I didn't want to upgrade but it was a pain in the but so it was worth it
Agreed, considering upgrading from Note 10+ to S21 ultra, and honestly only really large upgrade is 5G and the camera's Zoom.
@@miriamgonczarska613 I didn't go with the ultra because it was 200 more and slightly larger in battery size with special camera types but I can't justify it because I never take pictures, it's uncessary but it really is allot of bang for your buck considering how much actual cameras cost🙏
@@chrisb2521 spen support, I am a Note and dedicated Spen user. I wouldn't even considered the S line if not for introducing the Spen interface. Cammera is the second reason I take pictures sometimes I even need it for professional use like scanning documents and more I can fit in the picture better. Some books I use have tiny footnotes on huge page sizes.

I'm a Samsung person 100% had an iPhone because i drove off with my samsung on the roof of my car and the ink spended. The phone still worked but I didn't want to pay to get the screen replaced because the phone was already outdated. Got an iPhone to use for the time being. Let me tell you. I HATED IT. iPhone is just too simple and easy. Everything is right there. Sounds absurd but I don't like iPhone because it's too damn simple 😂, boring, plain, and blahh 😂

Lift to wake and palm swipe to capture don't work properly. I am not sure the camera will always see your face when you're looking at your phone
Hey I need help. My dad had the samsung s21 but he struggles with reading and writing. I have been through settings and tried the talk back setting but he said it was annoying. Not sure if his phone has an option to just read messages back to him. Anyone know?
If his eyesight isn't too bad there are options to modify text size.not sure about the feature you asked about though sorry.

I just upgraded from the note 20. For some reason I'm not getting 5g.
Nothing to do with the phone which is 5G capable but everything to do with your data provider. I just ordered the phone in Germany and I did not have a single 5G option from any of the major companies (O2, T-Netz or Vodafone). Probably another 12 months before available here.
Good 5G is awful
