36K price bump but you get the cleaner and meaner cyber punk look with new forged 19 wheels. Not to mention reinforced engine mount membrane, new G bushing reinforcement and revised steering gearbox yoke spec for better steering, retuned ECS, new urethane ABS insulator on the rear suspension support, improving damping, and other upgrades. US spec might not get the adaptive cruise control or rear vents or cooling seats but why would you even want that on a vehicle like this?

I bought my 2023 6-speed also in white back in May 2023. I now have 1,453 miles on it. I barely drive it, it's just a toy for me. I LOVE the car. I will admit that the front end on the 2024 is slightly nicer. The headlights are cool, and the bit of reduction of all the black would also be nice. However, that's literally the extent of it. I HATE black wheels, though I understand that you can get the current wheels ?? I also don't like the back-end. It was fine the way it was. They increased the painted portions on front only to add them to the back? Seems weird. Finally, there are literally no interior updates. No one has ever been in the back seat of my car so charging ports or vents are useless. It's not worth an "upgrade" to me since they didn't change anything.

I just bought my 10-year car, a 2023 GRC Circuit. Pretty sure, I'd be just as happy with the Elantra N. I test drove a 23 top spec Kona earlier this year with a DCT. When I test drove the Kona - in Joplin, MO while my tractor was in the shop for a new head gasket - it was wet out. I didn’t drive the car as aggressively as I wanted. I was impressed with the leather seats and the fancy rims. I thought it was a handsome little car, plus the dealership was fair with pricing. I would have gotten a good deal. My GRC Circuut is awesome! I like the much maligned interior, and the nanny electronics are worthwhile. With 1k miles, I haven't red lined the GRC yet - but I will, soon. The GRC has good power and a unique look. My GRC replaces my 2014 Corolla L with a stick and also a 2004 Boxster S.

I play a ton of Forza and it’s about as close as I will get to real life driving (Cerebral Palsy as my disability makes real life driving a distant dream).
We are getting the Kona N and I30N the hatchback in Forza as we don’t get here in the U.S. in the real world 😢
I know there are hand controls for disabled drivers but that’s not going to be covered via insurance I’d imagine.

The N costs what a high performance 4 banger should cost and looks more aggressive than the Type R and has a DCT option, when I switched from manual transmission in my GTI to one with DSG I don't want to go back to manual, because you get the best of both worlds with that transmission and it can handle more power than the manual without upgrading the clutch.
