when I was a young teenager my piano teacher took me to a Liberace concert in Winnipeg at the Centennial Concert Hall. Liberace was the consummate performer and his wardrobe was flashy and luxurious. it was a great show and it encouraged me to continue playing piano which I still do almost fifty years later. thanks Lee!

This is just a showing of how much Liberace has come to mean to me in the short time since I "discovered" him. It gives me great pleasure at a time for me when pleasurable things come few and far between, You, too are a very special person indeed. Thank you again and again.

Its sad to hear he had many dogs and loved animals, but yet he had outrageous furs made from minks and foxes. I wonder what he could have been thinking to buy furs made from killed animals? Its too bad.
he said in a interview he never used furs from endangered animals and only from animals that were breed for making furs ........the animal people would say those animals have feelings .....he would tell the animal activist do you eat hamburger or steak or chicken and they would say yes ........ he would then say you don't think the cow or chicken had feelings .

this man was the nightmare of my early childhood. We got our first tb in the early fifties. Children can really sense when people have something to hide, and he friggin creeped me out. So I wasn't surprised to find out hat he wasn't the sort of person I would admire. Yes, he was tremendously talented, bnut this whitewas is disgusting. He was the Donald Trump of his time, but dind#t get into politics. he just preyed on kids.
Well, your problem there was that back in the 50s you were watching tb instead of tv. A kid who stares at a deadly lung disease will no doubt have sever trauma stretching into adulthood.
