    I love Liberace! He puts on a beautiful show. He is so wonderful for the reporter to interview him, and answers in such a normal way. He would be great to have as a friend. Marvelous human being. Rest In Peace, Liberace. You are truly loved and missed.❤️🌹❤️

    People always ask: 'How is it you can be warm to people and it comes off as genuine', the answer is so easy it's silly... HE MEANS IT!

    Even though I never met Liberace, I feel like ive known him for many years when I watch his performances. He was so genuine and real. He left us the year I was born.

    This remarkably gifted gentleman comes over as so genuinely good. It would be upsetting to find he wasn’t. I gather he considered marriage at one time, for whatever reason. I believe there are lots of ladies who would be very happy with what would be lavender marriage with a caring, charming man like Liberace. It is tempting to believe they would receive the love and attention missing from many a heterosexual marriage.

    we had a Baldwin store in my hometown and there was a piano that Liberace signed-my grlfrnd that took piano lessons- would show it to me-we were thrilled! Don't know what happened to it...

    Great interview but it bothers me a bit that the interviewer just cut Liberace off at the end. At least let the man finish his thought.

      Me too, however, we're talking 1982 here and the "talk show" format was just in its very earliest form. I wasn't impressed with the interviewer; he was doing some things on the fly. Overall, I loved the interview because of Lee, though.

    • @davidallen346
      @davidallen346 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The show ran out of time but Liberace was almost done talking they should've let him finished , on Dick Cavett or Mike Douglas talk show would've been different.

    Such a sweet man with the build of a farmer and it makes me so sad that he had to face discrimination for so much of his life but to watch his face carefully when he plays shows that it’s what really mattered to him though unfortunately he placed himself in a position where it was almost impossible for him to trust anyone completely
