David Hasselhoff is really lucky to have his own KITT car as a birthday present. Seeing him driving that car really made my day. Man, I really wish I have a KITT car too. I would love to have that car more than anything else in the world.
What a fantastic job you did with your KITT replica, Jennifer! I was a huge Knight Rider fan as a kid - I even made my hairdresser mom cut my hair like Hoff's! Who didn't want that car in the 80's? ?
I didn't have a great childhood but KITT gave me something to look forward to ..... great video thank you from here in the UK .... he still makes me smile
TRUE! You (Mr. Hasselhoff) made a difference in many peoples lives. I enjoyed watching the show each week with my parents. Thanks for a great show (Knight Rider) and taking your valuable time to do this interview.
Happy 68th Birthday David Hasselhoff!!🎆🎂💗👏 Have LOVED Knight Rider ever since its very 1st season (when I was 9 years old). The Hoff will ALWAYS be Michael Knight to me!!#kitt&michaelknightrock😍💜😁
Huge props to Jennifer for the awesome build! One would never know by seeing her that she was behind the creation of that car! Not all car guys are guys!
Love Knight Rider show in the 80's. Pontiac Firebird or Tran Am is one of my favor car in the 80's. Every week my wife and I spend time to watched Knight Rider when the show came out. We went to Universal Studio and they have one for show there. I went and seat inside the car and talk to Kitt. Good thing you bring Knight Rider back to life.
Seeing your transformation, from one who never watched Knight Rider, to a fan was really cool! I use to live a few miles from David Hasselhoff’s parents’ house when I was a kid. One Christmas day I rode by their house on my bike and I noticed a tall slim man walking to the front door. I stopped, waved and yelled, "Hi…MERRY CHRISTMAS"! He waved back and said Merry Christmas! I have always wondered if it was David Hasselhoff.
Great video! Great project! Probably the MOST BEAUTIFUL car ever built! KITT STILL ROCKS! Exactly like David Hasselhoff! And I could not agree more - even when the show was "music of the future" - one man CAN make a difference! To other people! And this is ALWAYS true! My best wishes to you and your video channel and to all those Knight Rider enthusiasts out there! Thank you for the video!
If she will finish the project to a full functional SPM car replica, that will be awesome! My totally respect. I often think about how to transform it to a SPM. She nailed it: KITT had a personality. I love the show and the car. I love my (stock 1989) car.
Knight rider... What a show! Not only was the story fantastic but also the way it was presented to us. You're a cop, killed, given a second chance to avenge and given a car, that is fantastic! Black, powerful and strongest car in the world, also intelligent! It can talk, and drive itself and eject bad guys from the drivers seat for instance! LoL how great was to see kitt driving in the night, only with the red light on... Whispering... Vum vum... When it lights the beams it almost looks like it has a face. Crashes trough walls, jumps over things and always defends human life. The funny personality, the nice tone among Devon and Michael knight... And the mystic behind Wilton knight... Inspite all the errors while filming it, It was great, just great. Hugs from Portugal!
I've heard a Trans Am called alot of things but "boring" is definitely a first. I edited my original post- my apologies as I jumped the gun without even watching the entire video. I think it's really cool you became a fan after this. How could you not? ;) I guess I take it for granted that everyone grew up on this stuff, but obviously I'm getting older lol. 80's TV was the best. Corny? Of course. But you always knew right from wrong and the good guys always won. These are fantastic videos and bring back lots of good emotions and fun memories, thanks so much for doing them.
Real men DO cry, and real women DO dig cars! Ms. Catano, you're a treasure for treasuring this movie-car icon. Another featured man, Hoff, with heart in the right place urges us to make a difference.
I have 88 GTA and people love it! I often look for an empty parking lot where there are no people because almost always someone wants to talk about it and you do not always have time for that. LOL
I'm happy you learnt about the beauty of that car. I watched KR when I was 9 years old and KITT was my first crush back then. A guy in the neighbourhood drives an 80s Trans Am and the sound of it (even without the turbine like in the show) is just great! I'd prefer it over Ferrari and Porsche anytime. The design is just timeless and even today people turn when this car shows up. At least here in Europe. :) Wish I could have one, but I couldn't afford the money for restoration.. and I would have to stop driving in winter, wouldn't want to crash it somewhere.. Still a great car, even without KITTs personality. :) I envy you.
I will always have admiration and respect for Mr. Hasselhoff. I met him in 1986 at a meet-and-greet for the grand opening of our local Toys'R'Us flagship store. Two friends of mine and I spent hours waiting, and when closing time came, he walked down the line to greet everyone. When my friend asked him "How's KITT?" he replied, "KITT's great, he's the fastest car in the world!" and then he shook our hands. I'll never forget that.
Hey dude, please don't give these idiots another moment of your time.... Ignore them.... It's done they are doing it on purpose!! I would just like to say I am 25 and one of the world's biggest Knight Rider and Hasselhoff fans, watching the show and following the David for 21 years since I first clapped eyes on my very first episode!! This video is absolutely fantastic, a truly brilliant and emotional piece of film that shows how Hasselhoff still truly believes the values of the show (that One Man can Make a Difference) and showing you, a guy that didn't watch the show as a young lad that is now watching it after meeting David and Jen and taking time to learn what KITT, David and Knight Rider is all about. Jennifer's story is really heart warming, she is a lovely girl and how brilliant that she now has young daughters that are huge fans of the show now too!! Keep up the good work Chris and PLEASE for goodness sakes stop replying to the haters just ignore them and do your thing!! Thank you for making this film... To all of us TRUE and REAL LIFE HARDCORE (see how I used capitals haha) Knight Rider fans, we shall all agree that you have done a fab job and taken the time to meet David and Jen!! All the best and take care!! Andrew
The memories! I can so relate to Jennifer! I wanted that car for the longest time! Who knows, I may get one someday :) And finding out you made one for David, that was just fantastic! To find out you love and care about something so much that you can give back to the person that inspired you - that's just awesome! :)
Hmm actually it could be possible to sample the phenoms of his voice from Knight Rider and Saint Elsewhere and make a speech engine of his voice, not sure it would be completely legal, but it is possible, then you could program an AI to have the same whitty personality as Kitt, combine that with full navigation and the ability to self drive and come when summoned and you basically have an actual Kitt, after all, Teslas already self drive and come to you when they are summoned, makes me wonder if Elon used to watch Knight Rider.
As a fan of the show since I was a little Kid, WELCOME!!!! I'm so glad you did this, thank you and I'm very happy you are now a fan! I'm waiting for the live stream of Kung Fury, which David did the theme song.
I subscribed to this channel the moment I first saw one of their videos and I thought since this channel is about iconic movie cars, they must have a video or two about KITT from Knight Rider, my #1 favorite movie car of all time. So, I looked it up and I was right. They have two videos about KITT. And I was really surprised when I read the titles saying that they feature David Hasselhoff, himself! This video and this KITT replica are awesome and I'm so glad to know David Hasselhoff supports this awesome channel. And again, I've been subscribed to you guys, since the moment I first saw one of your videos! You, your cars, David Hasselhoff, and KITT are all really awesome! :)
The car looks great, but there's one minor detail that I would personally change. The scanner/chaser being LEDs just doesn't look right, particularly up close. It either needs regular bulbs, or at least have some kind of strong diffuser.
Light emmiting diodes LED now in tv slim line television sets and traffic lights look up the book titled the day after Roswell look in Google and youtube search engines
I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!!! Now, I own a Hot Wheels version of KITT, and I don't have him out in full view of anyone. Instead, he's stashed away in a crate with other Hot Wheels Models, as part of my large collection, numbering 2,294 vehicles in all.
Knight Rider is a pretty big deal in Sri Lanka. Local TV channels aired the show in the 90s (still showing re-runs!) and it became extremely popular. Most 90's kids like me grew up watching this amazing, talking car and never forgot about it. I'd love to see KITT in action again.
So many memories! Can't believe you got Mr. Knight to show up. Great vid!! I've always liked the original KITT before it started to grow wings and what not to enter super pursuit mode. But this is done really well.
It's a shame no one has arranged to reunite William Daniels and David Hasselhoff for a real interview. William's voice was featured on a comedy roast a few years ago but it wasn't a real reunion or an interview. All the fans would surely love to see these two men together for the first time, we have never seen that before, and this show was all about the relationship between these two!
How can you not be a Knight Rider fan? Please do the 2008 version of K.I.T.T too I think people would enjoy that even though it wasn't nearly half as good as the original but its still Knight Rider.
I remember when I was a kid, the pizza guy from papa Gino's had a KITT replica. His only looked like KITT on the outside, but still, imagine being in sixth grade and having knight rider pull up in front of your house for dinner! Good times... :)
Awesome video! I grew up watching the show myself - hopefully someday I will be able to see someone's KITT they built. I have sat in a DeLorean, as well as one of the original General Lees from Dukes of Hazzard. In regards to the reboot series...it would have done well if it stuck to Michael's "One Man Can Make a Difference" arc - the ratings weren't great, so they went to that - but by then the damage was done.
Hi! I'm a huge Knight Rider fan and it's nice to see KITT here, but that replica has quite a few differences from the original one from episodes, look at ugly tail lights from taken from SPM version for example plus LED scanner! ;( And of course glad to see David, he's awesome anyway! Interesting fact - she's the first girl which owns the replica that I have seen.
One day... I'll do my own Knight Rider. The beauty of it is today we have a lot of the technology to do it functional (with the possible exception of the molecular bonded shell and super pursuit mode 300mph speed) Knight 2000 replica. We have touch screens with entertainment and GPS capability plus back up camera, we have voice activated controls, even three drive modes (normal and pursuit could be "eco" and "power" modes) and Tesla has autopilot for some situations. Imagine what the next five years might bring.
Nice episode. Kudos to that lady for building such a cool KITT. She did build it with love. At one point she said "I enjoy having conversations with him, i feel like i'm sitting in a cockpit" --> did she put an AI in the car ?
I finally found Knight rider on my TV(elrey) and started watching it all over again. I love watching shows from the 80's cause they were CLEAN, Wholesome, and just all around great entertainment. sure what was cool then might be corny now but who cares! I'll take this show, chips, A team over any, and I mean ANY, of the lame, stupid, non- reality shitty TV shows that are consider entertainment today. This is a GREAT video series and I really enjoyed it. and having that young lady building and giving K.I.T.T. back to its best friend was priceless.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY CLEAN? SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN,CHIPS,AIR WOLF WERE GREAT SHOWS. KNIGHT RIDER MOVIE(2008) HAD RUINED THE IMPACT BECAUSE ORIGNAL KNIGHT RIDER HAD BEEN CHANGED AND DAVID HASSELHOF WAS NOT IN THE MAIN LEAD ROLE,WHAT DO YOU THINK?
1:32 Even without the KITT mods, this was NEVER considered to be a “boring” Pontiac.
AGREE! Sometimes the digital world millennials & genZ (no offense just opinion) don't really know what to say nor how to say it.
That guy is an idiot, at the beginning of the video he says that he's not a fan of the series, don't need to say more.
David Hasselhoff is really lucky to have his own KITT car as a birthday present. Seeing him driving that car really made my day. Man, I really wish I have a KITT car too. I would love to have that car more than anything else in the world.
I can't imagine the show with another actor or car. Hasselhoff was the perfect choice. He and KITT were a perfect match!
genison Kobe And Hasselhoff was the perfect choice for the role of Mitch Buchanan in Baywatch
What a fantastic job you did with your KITT replica, Jennifer! I was a huge Knight Rider fan as a kid - I even made my hairdresser mom cut my hair like Hoff's! Who didn't want that car in the 80's? ?
thanks!
KITT will always be the coolest machine.
yep
OptimusXian Prime Agree!
Though I agree I think that's it's equal to the Delorean in my prospective.
No KARR was cooler.
Cant like but I agree
I didn't have a great childhood but KITT gave me something to look forward to ..... great video thank you from here in the UK .... he still makes me smile
Awesome video. I actually named my first son KITT after this car!! He's now 14 and loves watching the old episodes
This is priceless for any Knight Rider fan I know because I am one
"One man can make a difference." Hence the presence of the Hoff, which makes this video really special.
TRUE!
How is it that this channel only has 34k subscribers, such well done videos it's like a tv documentary. It should be 3.4 million
Huge props to Jennifer for the awesome build! One would never know by seeing her that she was behind the creation of that car! Not all car guys are guys!
I'm brazilian but give congratulations all americans for this series.Best 80's forever.
Amen
why do brazilians feel the need to tell us they're from brazil always? nobody cares about that shit hole.
What douchebag man with that response. Have some honor.
LOL so true! Hi im Nathan from Australia
Knight Rider was a great show! So much ahead of its time. You should definitely watch it Chris. Very enjoyable as well!
Love Knight Rider show in the 80's. Pontiac Firebird or Tran Am is one of my favor car in the 80's. Every week my wife and I spend time to watched Knight Rider when the show came out. FINALLY!! Someone appreciates a character arc Hahahaha. Thanks :)
+theAFICIONAUTO No problem Brother! Keep on keepin' on!!! :)
+Keelan Kirkland amen in Christ keep on keeping on :)
+Bill Page AMEN to that!!! :) Christ is the Way the Truth and the Life!!! :) I follow Him!!! :)
+Keelan Kirkland Pity he's dead, killed by politics.
This is without a doubt the best knight rider video I have ever seen,I watched it so many times that I lost count Kitt still rocks.
These videos are edited really well. Nice to see Hasselhoff. Awesome work on the car.
If she will finish the project to a full functional SPM car replica, that will be awesome! My totally respect. I often think about how to transform it to a SPM.
She nailed it: KITT had a personality. I love the show and the car. I love my (stock 1989) car.
thanks for doing justice to such an iconic car, and thanks to Michael knight for making it even better
Knight rider... What a show! Not only was the story fantastic but also the way it was presented to us. You're a cop, killed, given a second chance to avenge and given a car, that is fantastic! Which we never get from today's tv shows. :'(
@@nikoligogle3153 I actually have to agree with you. While there are a few good ones created, no where near as many as back then.
I actually bought some interior parts for my firebird, from Jennifer a few years back. Her KITT is awesome.
David is incredible! What a wonderful person he is :) Thanks for making the video Chris - you did a great job!
:)

Almost 40 years old and 3rd gen Firebirds still look cool .
KITT is a timeless hero who sparked everyone's imagination. Live on forever, KITT!
Real men DO cry, and real women DO dig cars! Ms. Catano, you're a treasure for treasuring this movie-car icon. Another featured man, Hoff, with heart in the right place urges us to make a difference.
It's a great looking car! What you say at 7:00 is the drive is what makes the car. Personally I think it has both the looks and feel.
I own a Pontiac and I would not say that it is a boring car. It is fun to drive.
+MrRivii Lucky you! Jealousy here! xD
That guy is un worthy proud owner of a 78 and an 89
Nice
I have 88 GTA and people love it! I often look for an empty parking lot where there are no people because almost always someone wants to talk about it and you do not always have time for that. LOL
I miss my 87 bird
KiTT was my favourite car since i was 4yo(since '86), i still hope that someday i will have one
Respect to the Hoff for being able to do his own stunts. Wicked reverse 180
he's really good at them :)
Thank you for having me along what a story kitt is just the best
That's love for a car. A car with a lot of personality. Oh the memories. The nostalgia.
what an amazing video. So great to see the Hoff back in Kitt
Forget the Mustang Shelby
KITT Trans Am 4ever!!!
Diesel Prime Yep!!!
I like both kitt Trans am and Mustang. Forget the ugly red dodge kitt from the 91 movie.
I grew up watching Knight Rider. David Hasselhoff seems like a really cool guy and I'm glad he's doing well.
The Hoff is a beast on and off the camera
KITT and David Hasselhoff! Wow! What a wonderfull memories of my teenage stage.
Wow this was my childhood.. what a blast from the past , this video makes me feel young happy and sad all in one go... It was like watching a episode.

This looks like it was really fun to shoot. I bet you had a blast making this, and seriously what a cool lady..
Thanks so much :) YES it was AMAZING!!! It it always a great honor to work with David
Andrew
Epic! You’re so lucky to have chat time with the Hoff!
The memories! I can so relate to Jennifer! I wanted that car for the longest time! Who knows, I may get one someday :) And finding out you made one for David, that was just fantastic! To find out you love and care about something so much that you can give back to the person that inspired you - that's just awesome! :)
Thank you Todd. It was a great honor and privilege to be part of such a great project :)
only thing that let it down was the tail lights apart from that it was totally amazing
Awesome to have the Hoff back behind the wheel of KITT again. It's just missing the voice of William Daniels.
Romulan2469 por mucho que lleves el knight eres muy fea, tanto que deprimes al propio kitt.:(
Hmm actually it could be possible to sample the phenoms of his voice from Knight Rider and Saint Elsewhere and make a speech engine of his voice, not sure it would be completely legal, but it is possible, then you could program an AI to have the same whitty personality as Kitt, combine that with full navigation and the ability to self drive and come when summoned and you basically have an actual Kitt, after all, Teslas already self drive and come to you when they are summoned, makes me wonder if Elon used to watch Knight Rider.
Stumbled across your channel just yesterday. This is amazing. LOVE K.I.T.T.
the backlights are complet wrong 1:43 .. if kitt than a correct replica ^^
LOVE KITT Thanks for posting this video!!!!
Another awesome video! You keep outdoing yourselves!
As a fan of the show since I was a little Kid, WELCOME!!!! I'm so glad you did this, thank you and I'm very happy you are now a fan! I'm waiting for the live stream of Kung Fury, which David did the theme song.
You meet a woman who says she's a massive Knight Rider fan, y'know she's a keeper!
I subscribed to this channel the moment I first saw one of their videos and I thought since this channel is about iconic movie cars, they must have a video or two about KITT from Knight Rider, my #1 favorite movie car of all time. I discovered Knight Rider in the summer of 2009, and that was just before I started high school.
Mick Lennon I discovered Knight Rider in 1983.
I Discovered Knight Rider in 1998. :)
The car looks great, but there's one minor detail that I would personally change. The scanner/chaser being LEDs just doesn't look right, particularly up close. It either needs regular bulbs, or at least have some kind of strong diffuser.
Yeah, I've seen some LED scanners that replicate the fade of the bulbs.
Light emmiting diodes LED now in tv slim line television sets and traffic lights look up the book titled the day after Roswell look in Google and youtube search engines
I've seen a few that have that mistake where the middle of the bulb is yellow, when in the shoe it was white
This was Awesome, thanks for this episode, super cool and funny at the same time.
The end with you and David was very cleaver.
David Hassoholf is a cool actor and I love your films and TV shows.
david rocks i got to meet him on agt i was on agt because i did one of his songs !
Chris Knightair productions
again! guys, great job! Awesome video, great view of some REAL people with love for cars! keep doing what you're doing!
thanks!
Wow Jennifer Catano...living the dream. A modern day real life Bonnie Barstow...Good on her. I too aspire to get my own KITT one day.
capokhatpin thank you!
the intro of knight rider really shows the way that KITT moves.
And the attention to detail on the dash is perfect. I've seen several online that just look so cheap.
My name is Hee sang, Jeong. I live in Seoul, Korea.'Knight Rider' enjoys in South Korea from the end of 1984, 1987, TV pogram you've ever had.
your kitt looks great Jen :) just wish David could see that the fans want a movie.
One man can make a difference. The best motto ever.
I own a 1985 firebird, and i love it
I just bought one they are great
So many memories!
Can't believe you got Mr. Knight to show up. Great vid!!
I've always liked the original KITT before it started to grow wings and what not to enter super pursuit mode. But this is done really well.
hey hey great work!! love it!!
OK, if there's one thing Trans Am's are not... is boring. Fun video though!
We ll always love Michael and kitt, we grow up with kit and Michael (David) create part of our character. Greetings from Greece
Thank you David. Great acting ,,
It is so freaking AWESOME to see a woman who enjoys these shows too. It really is fantastic!

I love the franchise in 82 big fan.💘
beautiful car, I loved this show as a 80's baby

david hasselhoff the realest ever man
EVERYBODY would love to drive KITT. And ou don't even have to like the show. :)
Still watch my DVD collection on KR every Knight :) 2015
I remember the promos for Knight Rider. They took a dig on competing show -Dukes of Hazzard. "This car does a lot more than jump puddles."
One day... I'll do my own Knight Rider. The beauty of it is today we have a lot of the technology to do it functional (with the possible exception of the molecular bonded shell and super pursuit mode 300mph speed) Knight 2000 replica. Kudos to that lady for building such a cool KITT. She did build it with love.
At one point she said "I enjoy having conversations with him, i feel like i'm sitting in a cockpit" --> did she put an AI in the car ?
нереально крутое фантастическое видео! Любимый К.И.Т.Т. во весь экран и в 1080p. Сколько лет прошло, а любовь к этому авто всё не проходит...
Kitt is so beautiful. He is even more special with David Hasselhoff.
KNIGHT RIDER MOVIE(2008) HAD RUINED THE IMPACT BECAUSE ORIGNAL KNIGHT RIDER HAD BEEN CHANGED AND DAVID HASSELHOF WAS NOT IN THE MAIN LEAD ROLE,WHAT DO YOU THINK?
finally!!! Thank you!
