This is one of seven DeLoreans used on screen in the Back to the Future trilogy. This particular car was used in the third movie for the 1955 drive-in movie scene when Michael J. Fox drives it into the past and lands in 1885 to find Doc. Of the seven DeLoreans, only three have survived since filming, and this is one of those three - the only one in private hands. The others are still owned by Universal Studios, and usually on display at the theme parks.

Seriously, how is it that Jake and Logan Paul become the faces of TH-cam by pretty much committing crimes and making dumb, unfunny, all around pointless vlogs and this guy actually takes time and dedication into making these amazing documentary like videos and only gets 49,000 subs? Goes to show how dumb the people at TH-cam Headquarters are for not dropping the Pauls and erasing their channels completely! Just like FanboyFlicks, this is one of the most underrated TH-cam channels ever.

It's not so surprising. Most people are idiots, and stupidity breeds stupidity.
You could also say that a deep love for cars is perhaps not something that appeals to the majority of viewers, but on the other hand,
those few thousand people who do get it, will be a hell of a lot more faithful to a channel like this, than the ones who just go along with
whatever's popular at the time. The Logan bastards will be long gone soon enough, whereas a video like this will remain forever.

Seeing those pictures of those deteriorating DeLoreans actually almost made me cry. It always saddens me to see beautiful old cars "suffer" so much, especially one such as such special DeLoreans.
I live in Brazil and I love Back to the Future. Always have. One of my life goals is to one day be able to at least get to sit in a DeLorean, even if just as a passenger. BTTF replica or original, doesn't matter. I just want to have the chance to someday get close to one for real. It may not be a good car, but it's such a beautiful and cool looking one! If I had the money, I'd definitely import one from the US and care for it as I'd care for a son or daughter. Such precious car must be preserved.

Great video, the car is amazing. I live down the road from the former Delorean factory in Dunmurry. At the time the cars were being produced a family friend who was an engineer was called in to help make the gull-wing doors actually fit as they had problems closing them. As a kid, shortly after the factory closed, before it was purchased by another company, you could see, virtually abandoned a sea of Deloreans, unsold. It was very sad because there was a lot of pride put into making them, the films actually helped restore some of that pride and there are plenty of people who own the cars and go on lots of excursions in them.

This little documentary video was so well done! I’ve seen all the movies countless times. My kids have seen them all. My grandson will see them someday. Your editing and post work was top notch. I've worked with people born in late 90s early 2000s that think any movie that's more than 5 years old is stupid. It's sad how movies like this that are a great story that use real cars are getting overshadowed by CGI.
This was an awesome spotlight on a movie car that got the love it deserved by people who actually cared. Well done.

I was genuinely happy when I saw the thing actually moving, it really touches your heart somewhere when you know people are putting their time into keeping this frankenstein-vehicle alive.

Very well made mini-documentary. Never underestimate the value of Hollywood props. Nobody gave a frick (except me of course, Cuda Boy after all) about '57-'58 Plymouth "furys" until Christine or AMC Pacers until those snl nits.. and so on.. I worked in Century City when John Z displayed his cars in prototype between the twin towers - all shiny stainless steel with good looking models slinking around.... I saw the old fashion engine and stupid specs and continued to hit the Playboy Club for lunch before going back to my drone Law job.🤡

You're heroes in my book. Thank you.

I 'm a big BTTF fanboy, and this story is incredible! I would never had imagined a VW aircooled engine under the hood of this De Lorean! Here in Brazil, there were lots of aircooled (VW) cars in the 60s-80s/90s, and some of them are working today in the hands of lots of old car collectors! Congrats for sharing all of this with us. I am an old car collector and passionate old car fan and I must confess that this brought tears to my eyes. I am very happy for having bumped into this video! Congrats, guys, God bless you.
