Talking about seeing you guys 'as spies', I have to be honest, I was one of those that thought peace corps employees are disguise CIA officers. Especially, if they are white. When I was back home, I interacted with a few of them. I was a lot open to people on vacation or on other missions. I think differently now. Sorry Anita. Kaylan, keep doing the wonderful work. I'm very proud of you even though I'm not a Namibian. I just feel like every African should be appreciative of the awareness and exposure you're bringing to the continent.

I mostly appreciate the different perspective you both bring but also many of the similarities. I was not the least bit surprised about the behavior displayed by Asians in Namibia 🇳🇦. I am from NYC and am very familiar with their treatment and disregard for black folks. I recently visited San Francisco and found that they're no different. I no longer purchase anything from their restaurants, beauty supply stores or supermarkets. It's very unfortunate how they are received in Namibia 🇳🇦 and given so much high regard as opposed to a black person from another country, but I digress. Thanks for sharing and I am looking forward to the next video. Until then take care of you and your family ❤️.

LEAVE THESE 6 HANG-UPS BEHIND the last part about sharing plates and letting people put their hands in mushy foods like oatmeal that would be something I could not do under any circumstances. I have actual OCD my ex was from West Africa and his mother over me some fufu drowned in a gravy like stew I politely refused. Too many saliva spread diseases like herpes, hpv, hepatitis in this world.
Keep these interviews coming. I've never had a "taste" for visiting South Africa, because from the pictures it always seemed too much like the "same ole same ole" to me. Remnants of a type of colonialism taken to the max. However, thanks to your videos, I really wanna visit Namibia, which in my opinion is far more authentic than what I might have gotten from South Africa. Your videos definitely make a difference. And while I've already been to several African countries (all in East Africa), I know many of my peers who still think that Africa is a vast jungle savanna filled with lions and hippos. They have no idea what they're missing. Your videos allow me to show some of my "less informed" friends what Africa truly has to offer, and how diverse it is from one country to another. So thank you and please keep them coming whenever possible.
Since you are a journalist have you considered working for some major western media company as a correspondent for the region. It would be less costly for those companies to employ somebody living there.
Thanks for more informal videos. Theres a growing number of Dark skin people who are pro Dark skin(black). Your videos gives a heads-up to those who think the motherland is all pro Dark skin. FYI. I don't use the word black to describe our people because none of us are black. I use Dark skin instead of black. Thank you so much for your efforts

Quality skilled nurses are desperately needed, particularly in the government (public) hospitals. I think foreign nurses from the States have a real advantage in getting a healthcare job in Namibia. And it's the same for many other African nations.. I would visit and meet with the hospital staff here. Bring your resume and your 'qualifications' (your degree - original) and a police clearance from the States. You can check out the website for the Namibia Ministry of Health (like the American department of health) to get a feel for the system here.
Hi there! There are three main universities here (University of Namibia, Polytechnic of Namibia and IUM) and then smaller colleges. They are good, however, many students aspire to study abroad - those who can afford to. In terms of the tuition try googling the schools as they might have them listed on their websites.

went to windhoek for a week it's scary isolated like don't leave windhoek if you gonna miss civilization type isolated. its really not much to describe outside of windhoek just Bush bush bush but windhoek is chill similar to south Africa I don't like that mtc bs SIM cards the pay weekly thing for my phone. no monthly or bundles and the taxis are confusing I think I just like thr quiet and the clean however dry air but being american having lived in cape town 2 years I find it difficult blending in and identifying with the locals I definitely feel out of place and dating is f difficult cuz the mentality is bizarre here in cape town anyway
