I grew up in Africa and most of those spiders are harmless. But I understand your fears. Despite me growing up in Africa, am afraid of rats.

Kallan i just have to say that u are a very brave lady. I will admit much braver than me because I'm totally squeamish about spiders and things that live and belong on the outside. Truly i would've been ready to go back home immediately lol. But good for u that with all and everything u endured u stayed and now you're happy and living your best life with Lance and your husband. Pat yourself on the shoulder and i truly applaud you for your bravery and honesty. That's why you're my favorite African American vlogger living in Africa. Keep them coming i always enjoy your vlogs and i hope your enjoying your new house very much. Much love from South Tampa Florida!!!💕🇺🇸😄🌴🌞

If were Namibian President I would promote this Lady to a prominent role such as Education Minister. She so deserve it.
To my African brothers and sisters, we need to tighten up, we need to step up our game. I m glad they had a house for her, but it wouldn't have hurt to clean it up, leave some flowers and a card that read WELCOME Kaylan!!!

Was in the States had a nail injury but it was my finger nail. It was hurt really bad later fell off. It did grow back but took 2-3 years. Always protect it, tough part is if hair gets inside so hard to get it out while the nail is growing. Secondly I got pneumonia while I was in Thailand. It can be tough being sick. Luckily I had my wife to take care of me, she was my girlfriend at the time. Had an eye injury in Korea with no one to take care of me. But with Korea the medical staff did a great job.

I don't have an arachnophobia, but I've got a story about a spider. One night I got up to have some water and when I turned on the light in the kitchen I saw that I wasn't the only one seeking for refreshments at that very moment. I saw a huge spider in the sink (at least at that moment it seemed to me that big). I thouhgt, ok dude I believe you're big enough to live on your own and have you're own house. I took a matchbox and caught the spider to let it out on the street. Then I went out and at that moment the silent and dark enviroment made me scared. I thought, ok, what if I open the box and spider runs over my arm? Or jumps on my face or whatever? I put the box on the ground, found two twigs and managed to open the box with them. So far as one isn't used to open a matchbox with two twigs this took me quite a while and I was looking inside the box while opening it. And I DIDN'T see the spider, it wasn't there... When finally the box was fully opend I saw the poor creature shrinked into the tiny dot in the corner of the box... I stepped away so it could go. It was a bad night of mine and probably the worst night of that spider😂

Incident 1: Lol, spiders are plenty in Namibia esp in hot humid north, I grow up in Windhoek and still cant stand lizardz.. i dont like their smooth sliding-like bodies😄. Incident No 2. That was truly sad and I know with such involvement, it was such an honor to you. Incident No. 3, Yeah, that pain must have been unbearable, African children are mostly discouraged from loud crying as they emerge out of childhood, even during childbirth.. Nice stories, thanks Kylan...

Guess everyone have their thang they can’t stand. My two aunts fear worms and have zero issues with a sna_e. There is no rationalization sometimes of the things we fear. I have zero fears of worms or spiders. Don’t like lizards but I can tolerate them.
