- The cast of Disney's musical, "The Lion King," performs "The Circle of Life" on a Virgin flight from Brisbane to Sydney, Australia, in a video that appeared online on March 31.

@@SethPortland Usually it is not the "grouches" as they tend to be old. Old grouches who are grandparents LOVE children and the cry of a baby or toddler hurts their soul. These older folks are more understanding and sympathetic than young people.

As a singer, I often find myself breaking out to music when it strikes me. The issue is that I often find myself messing with harmonies in the grocery store and realizing that there are other people around me. Haha
I can't sing for sh*t and I still sing every chance I get and If I had that kind of voice id sing every word that came out of my mouth lol.

Fifty years ago my high school choir toured Europe. For a week we were part of an international choirfest in Freiburg, Germany. We were part of a large choir that had German, French, and Swiss people. Our director was French. Most of us could not converse, but we could all sing together so beautifully. What an experience! Music is truly the universal language. Bravo to the group on that plane.

@Jim20 If memory serves, we invited Soviet Premier Nikita Kruschev to visit a farm in Iowa back in 1959. The farmer showed the premier the methods of farming that were way more productive than anything in the Soviet Union. The farmer's theory was that if no people were hungry, there would be nothing to fight about. There is some truth to that. More recently, the Crystal Cathedral Ministry brought some potatoes to Russia to plant. Those farms have been successful. Unfortunately the world is more complicated than that. It is, however. a step in the right direction. Let's hope.
When I was in high school, my friends and I sang everywhere we went ... on trains, busses, trams and while walking. The only criteria .. whenever we had more than three or four of us (friends) together. We had some kind of "courage" and sang and sang. We were young and silly and fearless then.
@@ronaldferdinands758 I often wish we were still on those buses and we could just keep traveling and singing for people everywhere. Two days ago we put together a barbershop quartet at church. We performed three songs in that style and got many compliments and an invitation to do it again sometime. I'm at bat for two solos in church September 1. Music is a great way to communicate. It's a great love. My elementary school music is still around. She is 87 and still directing.a choir. I visited her recently. She opened the door for me back in 1958 and I never looked back. I owe her so much. I repay her by singing whenever I can.

Going to the USA to Australia, we had a stopover in Fiji. There a group of Fijians got onboard and settled in. When the plane started to taxi to the runway, these 20 or so Fijians broke out in a beautiful song. It was amazing and foot stomping and as the plane lifted off they brought the song home to wild applause! It was one of the most beautiful and amazing moments ever on a plane (and I've been on many) and took all the fear of flying from all of us on the plane. I have a feeling that the Fijian people are just glad to be where they want to be! Thanks so much to the Fijians who_ sang us up into the beautiful sky_ so beautifully. I will never, ever forget it. When they finished there was raucous and enthusiastic applause from everyone on the plane, including the stewards! It was a wonderful trip.
Reminds of when I went overseas with my high school aged choir and while we were on a bus everyone randomly broke out into 'in the jungle' with different parts and everything. It was truly amazing and fun to be a part of 😊

Why did this make me cry? It’s so beautiful and they work together so well together. The teamwork is sooo touching! I really wish I was there. Why hasn’t this gotten more views? Nope, not true. I fly for Delta (27 years) and we absolutely LOVE this kind of stuff. I have had random people break out guitars, violins and even a ukulele on my flights and give an impromptu performance. All of the passengers and crew enjoyed it tremendously.

That was absolutely WONDERFUL!!
I saw the show and it was ASTOUNDING!! The only good thing about having to stand in line for the restroom during intermission and being late getting back was the first number had started.
Consequently, we were allowed in but couldn't go to our seats because some of the players were standing right next to us waiting to enter the stage from the aisles!
I was all happy to be standing next to them (and watch one girl in particular silently mouth the words until she could sing out loud)!
Ain't it great to see all humans sing, all crammed together between two wings, wish I was there as they had this fling, oh what joy this video brings, Humans together can be so strong, it just shown us in this song, happy faces, this can't be wrong, wish these events happened all day long, every nation around the world, thank you for the memo, I enjoyed the hurl!
