    Hey mate,
    How long would you allocate time wise for this job? And is there any reason why this couldn't be done while still on the car?
    Cheers mate.

      Can be done in the car. Have done both ways. Easier to show outside car. I would allow atleast 6 hours. If you havnt done it before 👍

    How can I get the same part? Is there a barcode or is it available in Toyota spare parts?

    Hi, newbybquestion, what does inserting a spool actually do?

    • @mhaley90
      @mhaley90  ปีที่แล้ว

      Makes the car drive just from the rear wheel and not AWD like it is from factory. The spool removes the transfer gears that allow the front shaft to turn.

    Can the centre diff lock not be used alongside the locking hubs to do the same thing or does it need changed to the spool lock, I’ve been thinking about doing this but not if I have to change the spool I don’t like mine that much

      @mhaley90  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can do that also mate. Just means your front diff is still spinning.

      @@mhaley90 thanks.straightest answer I’ve found yet, yea mine pulls all over the show under acceleration so I’m just trying to get away from that easily and cheaply I’ll have to get the thinking cap on and predict what it’ll wreck over time by doing it though as long as not to many doughnuts happen the wheels should all stay the same speed as axels and not much chance of wearing out the hubs I guess..👍

      @@jimmyharvey2078 yeah it will be fine. Not 100% the right way. But is cheaper and will work 👍

      @@jimmyharvey2078 you can buy the hubs seperatly anyways. So just do that. Can always do spool later if need be 👍👍👍 thanks for watching my vids mate
