Wow, this right here! Congrats Emma, Kane, and Zach! This is truly why we do it, and to do it within a couple minutes of each other is the icing on the cake! The friendships, the memories, and the anticipation to do it all over again is unmatched! Great job putting this one together Josh! 👊🏼
Markabney, you've got that right sir! We couldn't be happier for Emma and look forward to watching her hunts in the future. Thanks for taking the time to view and we hope you enjoyed the video!
Watching that FaceTime call brought a big smile to my face. It doesn't get better than that and what a cool thing that we can share memories with friends so many miles away. Great job Zach and Emma and congratulations on a November 22nd to remember! Good luck in the late season Mike.
Awesome episode. Great to see family and friends making hunting memories together, the success is just icing on the cake. Great job by Jared to just be pulled in off of the streets and film a successful hunt first try...🤣🤣
Jared did an awesome job laying down the footage as always and it's awesome to see that memory come together for Zach and him. Like you said, it's great to see family and friends making memories in the woods together. Thank you for taking the time to watch and we hope you've had a great hunting season so far!
Awesome episode MW crew, what a stud of a deer Zach, and to have Jared on the side to boot.. And for Kane and Emma, wow, talk about emotional when she lays eyes on her first deer, that's what it's all about. Congrats to all.
We appreciate you taking the time to watch @cowman540! Seeing the growth and progression of the kids as the come up hunting is probably one of the most rewarding feelings that we can have as hunters. The memories made along the way will last for a lifetime and we wouldn't trade that for the world. Best of luck the rest of the season and thank you so much for the support!
Sorry for all the comments. Was commenting while watching the video lol. What an amazing couple hunts! Watching Emma so excited was heart warming! Love that! Zach. What a stud! Congrats yall!
No worries at all for all of the comments, we appreciate them! Emma's reaction to that moment was heart warming for sure and Zach... well all we can say is Zach deserves that buck a hundred times over and we're sure happy for him. Have a great night!
Lol we all know who Jared is… #TheOG Great video as always! Such a cool moment for everyone involved. I can’t wait to share moments like that with my daughter.
Brentlovell_outdoors, what's up man! We hope you've had a great season and sure appreciate ya watching. Getting to watch Zach and Jared experience such a hunt was beyond awesome and on the note of Emma's reaction/hunt... we sure hope you've got some moments like that in your near future. Best of luck as we finish out the '24 season!
Bobbybryan4292, well we surely appreciate the support and are happy to hear that you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching and good luck to you in the coming days as the late season arrives!
Fantastic episode, congratulations Zach and Emma. Emma’s emotion, during the recovery was priceless. Brought back some great memories of my youngins first deer.
Seeing Emma’s reaction to walking up on her deer tugged at all our heartstrings. That’s what it’s all about. Two memories made that night that won’t soon be forgotten. Thank you for watching Paul and we appreciate your support!
Ralph, welcome to another show and we sure hope you enjoy Zach and Emma's epic evening. On the note of Mike, it sure looks like' he's got some eventful afternoons ahead of him in the coming weeks. Hunting with family and friends is what it's all about and we're beyond excited to continue to soak in 2024's blessings. Have a great night and thanks for watching.
Karen, that's a great observation! The buck they called "Sneezy" has a lot of cool characteristics including what you just referenced. It's pretty wild to see the growth from last year the buck exhibited and for it to all line up the way it did... we're incredibly happy for Zach. Not to be dismissed, we also couldn't be happier for Emma and Kane to be able to share in such a moment as her first firearm buck. Hunting traditions only live on if passed down and Kane Gillette is surely doing great in that department. Have a great night and thank you so much for watching and supporting Midwest Whitetail.
That means a ton to all of us here and we appreciate that compliment a ton. There's a lot of cogs in the wheel that make everything come together over here and we have a fantastic team that we are all super proud to be apart of. With that being said, none of it happens without you and we thank you so much for your support. It's great to hear that you're enjoying the episodes and we hope that your hunting season has been fruitful. Best of luck the rest of the season!
Emma and Zach huge congratulations on both bucks. Zach that brown strip on his forehead is super cool. The shakes by u and Emma is what's it all about being a hunter and sharing it with great friends and family
Vincentonorato3374, thank you very much for taking the time to watch sir! That "Sneezy" buck is super darn cool and to see his jump from '23 to '24... whitetails never cease to amaze. Hope you've had a great season and good luck hunting as the late season continues to creep closer!
A great night for all parties involved and some great memories made Mitchell. We hope that you’ve had a great season and your continued support means a ton to us. We hope that you enjoyed the episode.
We're glad you enjoyed it Matt! Thank you for taking the time to watch and we hope that you have had a great season so far. What was your favorite part of the episode?
That's awesome to hear! The memories made in this video are ones that won't soon be forgotten for sure. Kane and Emma have a bright future and we can't wait to see the next story that they bring along. Thank you for taking the time to watch the show and we hope you've had a great hunting season so far!
Absolutely right. It's great to watch Zach and Jared get the chance to spend some time in the tree together and based on this hunt... they should do it a little more often! We're sure you do but stay up to date with Jared and all of his hunts over on his channel. He did a great job helping capture this memory for Zach and we're thankful for that.
No matter how much room there is, there's never enough room. Best of luck as we finish the season and thank you so much for taking the time to watch the episode! Hope you enjoyed these hunts.
Jesustorrez, we're just happy to be able to share the memories of both Zach and Emma's hunts. Appreciate ya watching and hope you've had a great season! See you on the next one.
Emma got it done and we couldn’t be more proud of her and Kane. Such a great father daughter duo and we can’t wait to see the memories they make in the future. We appreciate you taking the time to watch and we hope you enjoyed the show!
I put corn screens between and around all three of my main food plots this year, soybeans, turnip blends x 2, and this has been my highest buck count in 7 years of living at my property. I figured it made the bucks have to check/ stay on the property longer when there checking on does.
@ me and my wife’s tags are filled. That’s it for us up here in Ontario Canada. There’s one more big fella I woulda have loved to take, and I always have rooming bucks come through in December ( which is normally my best month ). Next year’s prospects are fantastic! Can’t wait to start the preparations already. Wild ride! Next year my daughter can do the youth program and we will be up one more tag! 🏷️
TrentVesbach4476, thank you much for taking the time to watch man. We couldn't be happier for both Emma and Zach on the two great hunts and what are the chances of the triggers getting pulled that close together? On the note of the neighbors, all we will say is we respect Zach immensely for his patience. He's truly a man of character and represents our team and himself at the highest level. we're extremely grateful for his friendship and look forward to the next buck story he tells.
Sure sounds like there’s a few good stories to be told with how that part of the farm got its name! Thanks for watching woodduck635 and we hope you enjoyed the hunts.
Joseph that’s a good question man. A few things to note. If you can avoid it and it’s really hard to remember in the moment, try not to shoot a deer when it’s got its head down feeding. If you have had a deer duck the string, chances are they were either alert from being stopped or head down feeding. Comparatively, think of it like a sprinter coming out of starting block. When that head snaps up the body falls. In this instance, Zach’s 2” cut from the Rage Chisel Tip broadhead made contact with the aortic artery that runs along the top side of the cavity. Chances are he hit high lungs but with that instantaneous pressurized blood loss, that’s how the buck hit the ground so fast. Thanks a million for watching and for the question. Hope this helps!
First off thank you for taking the time to watch and we hope that you enjoyed the video. As far as the honking in the background goes, all we will say is that Zach is an extremely patient guy and no matter what situation he is presented with he represents himself and our team with great character. We appreciate him and we're grateful for his friendship.
Woodland-Gangsta, first off thanks for watching the episode! As always we hope you enjoyed it. As far as it being the same buck, give the Instagram reel or TH-cam short we posted a watch. You can really see the line up of the buck. Left browtine, forehead, etc. are all give aways! It’s easy to see why with the big jump the guys didn’t recognize originally it was him! Incredible!
Wow, this right here!

As Realtree says... Family, friends, and the outdoors. It doesn't get better than 11-22-24 as a deer hunter!
One to remember for sure! Thanks for killing this one buddy, I appreciate you.

Nice buck young lady. Congratulations on a job well done.

We have a place on our farm we have called the Goat Hills since the late 80's. I've never heard anyone else use that term! 😀
Sure sounds like there’s a few good stories to be told with how that part of the farm got its name! Thanks for watching woodduck635 and we hope you enjoyed the hunts.
Classic, “must’ve hit the backside shoulder” hahaha no dude you use expandables
How'd that shot not result in a stressful recovery?
Joseph that’s a good question man. A few things to note. If you can avoid it and it’s really hard to remember in the moment, try not to shoot a deer when it’s got its head down feeding.
