Oh my! What a gorgeous, gorgeous and did I say gorgeous? Haul!!! I love every single piece. Your table displaying these beauties is absolute perfection! My favorite piece is the chocolat pot…
Hi Kris love tthe lamps and the new door! I think because the plant stands are tall and skinny it might look more balanced if you had something shorter and fuller on top. You might even want to put a candle holder with a battery operated flickering candle. The plant stands could serve as candle stands. Just a thought 😊
I think this was your best haul ever! I had to stop the video so I could purchase the domed glass dish and I’m so tempted by the cat basket. The apple basket I purchased from you looks so beautiful in my autumn display filled with mixed nuts in the shell with silk maple leaves added around the rim. The new door looks great. I love the lamps and I recently watched a video about recovering lamp shades. Your husband is so skilled perhaps he could shorten them. I love seeing the pets especially the dogs with their toys. So cute!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! The domed dish is so pretty now that it's clean! 😂😂 I really liked the cat basket too - so unique! I'm glad you're enjoying the apple basket! It must be nice to have a basket that can be stored flat when you're not using it - sometimes they take up too much room.
I’m a new watcher.. I live in Manchester Ct! So happy to see you thrifted in my town! There’s a goodwill in Glastonbury where I always find vintage things. You should check it out. Love the mushroom jar! Your kitty is adorable!
Me too as this was the first video I came across and I live in Manchester abs recently moved here from Glastonbury. As I’m watching this, I kept saying I have to comment and let her know about the one in Glastonbury. It looks great seeing others in this town.
Hi from Southington CT. I have been doing reselling for about 3.5 years & love it. 🍀. Good luck to you. Loved the little girl & doll painting at Middletown.
How awesome that you love and care so much about your fur babies that you put those safety measures in place! Great haul! I thoroughly enjoy watching your channel and love to see the way you display your treasures.
I'm so glad I can tell you about some new places! I'm still finding them myself. Thank you for the congrats - I was so happy to meet my goal! (And Eric took me out to dinner to celebrate!)
You truly seem to hit the stores at the right time! I go to the thrift stores and never find much of anything. Oh and those wooden animal sculptures, I haven't seen those for many years! Maybe I need to get over to Manchester too. 😊 Slightly larger lamp shades might work on the lamps to balance out the weight of the seetee. As the height of the tables almost mimics a floorlamp.
Timing is everything with thrift stores, definitely. I like your suggestion about the shades - maybe I'll try some of the shades I have on other lamps just to get a sense of perspective. Thanks for the idea!
What a great haul! The dishes are all fabulous and the two trays are wonderful. I’m an addicted tole tray collector! The small one is actually a Russian lacquered tray. If you want to clean up the other tray, try a little bit of orange oil on a soft cloth. It’s what I use and I love the look it gives them. Thanks for another great video.
Thank you for the tip - I'm going to order some right now and try it. I also appreciate the info about the Russian lacquered tray. When I looked it up on ebay, that's what popped up, but I didn't want to use the term without being sure. I bought a BEAUTIFUL tole tray yesterday - the video will be coming up in a week of so!
Hi Kris I think you alcove with bench and the 2 new lamps is awesome. I get a real perfect Williamsburg colonial vibe from it. The 2 plant stands seem to be the perfect hight and size with the lamps on them and the openness accentuates your beautiful window treatment with your drapes. It can’t be anymore perfect than you have it in my opinion. Keep it for a while I think you will agree. Love my tray and painted rolling pin. Watching out for more treasures and your holiday hauls. Thank you, be safe and well. God bless. Will
You couldn't pay me a higher compliment than to say my alcove is giving you Williamsburg vibes - thank you! I'm definitely living with it for a while, and it's growing on me. I just can't bear to put the plant stands in the attic. I want to see them and enjoy them! I'm so glad you're enjoying the tray and rolling pin! You have a little bit of Worthington Home in your own home now!
Instead of the lamps on plant stands, I would put ONE gold floor stem lamp on right side. Reminds me of hallway on upstairs in FARMERS DAUGHTER 1960s TV show. Love your home!!
Thank you so much! I think you're right about the floor lamp. The only problem is that Indy and Iris ESPECIALLY like to break floor lamps. But it's such a rarely used spot, maybe they would leave it alone.
I've been to the Savers in Newington quite a lot, but lately their prices have seemed high to me. I've had some success at the Goodwill in Glastonbury. I appreciate the recommendations because I'm always on the hunt for good thrifting spots!
I'm thrilled to purchase the Hall Cobalt Blue Teapot! Loving the other 2 but having a hard time rationalizing spending more 😂 I just bought your other Hall from the other day!
When Iris jumped up on your display table I actually gasped! I truly didn’t think you were going to notice and all of those gorgeous Hall depots were going down. So happy you caught that little stinker. I do have an Iris question…I don’t believe that I have ever heard her meow. Because she is deaf, does she meow? Or maybe she is just so happy about living among all of your lovely treasures she simply has no complaints to vocalize?
It was a bit of a close call for sure! She's so destructive! Iris is actually very vocal (just like her brother) and because she's deaf, she doesn't moderate her sound. As a result, it sometimes sounds like she's screaming. It's very disturbing, actually, but she has no idea how loud she's being. We've mostly gotten used to it, but sometimes the sound makes me jump!
I had to buy the cat basket once I saw it on your shelf. I also forgot to mention the cup shelf. I love mine and would buy it if I had any wall space. The price for these has really gone up on EBay but I think you should keep it.
I'm so glad you bought the cat basket! I hope you love it! You're going to laugh - I actually bought ANOTHER cup shelf at a tag sale yesterday for $10. I just can't leave them behind!
Wow so many beautiful Hall coffee pots! Nice 😊❤ Oh Kris for $1.99 I would have picked up all the wood animals that wasn’t damaged. They are nice sellers. But I realize that they aren’t your niche. 😊
The little Hall teapot you didn’t buy with the chip I have it same color one but no gold flowers and it is called a windshield style tea pot. Just a little tidbit someone shared with. I 🧡tea pots but my house is only so big so I have to curb my appetite.
Do you have a email address available? I have some Portmerian pieces I could give you. I was going to donate one of them to my Butterfly Club as a door prize but if you like them I would like you to have them. I was going to contact you through eBay but wasn’t sure that was allowed if it didn’t pertain to a purchase.

I really like your idea of making them candle stands. That would look much more appropriate. Thanks Laura!
I enjoy your channel so much! Thank you for all you do.
Thank you so much for saying so! It means so much to me!
Wow three Hall teapots, nice 👍 Oh Indy, you keep your momma on her toes! 😻
Such a good score, yes? I was so excited to find them! The pretty blue one just sold this morning.
So many pretty things!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the haul! It was such a great place!

I have the same apple basket and adore it! My daughter gifted it to me

We're neighbors! I hope we run into each other while out and about doing our thrifting thing! If you ever see me, please say hello!

The fur babies have our hearts in their little paws, that's for sure! Thank you for the kind comments - I very much appreciate them!
Love the Hall teapots!
Thank you so much! It was so unusual to find so many!
Thank you for the comment about my apple basket. I also have a pear shape one and soon I’ll have the cat one. I love Kris’s videos.

Wow so many beautiful Hall coffee pots! Nice 😊❤
Thank you! You never know what you're going to find when thrifting!
Enjoying your channel and I live in Connecticut so I found out many thrift stores I didn’t know about congrats on teaching 3000 🎉❤

Maybe the cover on the milk, glass tobacco jar is shaped to hold pipes
Yes, you're exactly right! I learned about it when I researched the piece in order to list it on ebay.
Love the blue tea pot !!!
Thank you! It already sold! I'm sad to let it go, but happy to have the business!
@@WorthingtonHome you are on fire !! Way to go !!!

I'm thrilled to purchase the Hall Cobalt Blue Teapot! Loving the other 2 but having a hard time rationalizing spending more 😂 I just bought your other Hall from the other day!
Hall teapots are SO GOOD, right? They have such a distinctive look. I have a few in my own personal collection and I never get tired of them.

That’s the SaversI frequent!
I had good luck there! I've been meaning to go to the one in Orange. I haven't been there in several years.
I’m 15-20 minutes from Manchester. I’d love to say hi next time you visit. Would be nice to reconnect. ☺️
The next time I thrift in Manchester we should meet up!
Hi Kris 😊
Hello! I hope you're having a great day!
I just looked up the mushroom tureen and any price point up to just under $400.00
How about shorter lamps as the tables are so tall. Try it.
That's a good idea - I'll give it a try! Thanks for the suggestion!
