OMG I love the tole trays. What a great house. Hello to the fur babies. Wilson looks so innocent and sweet. Licorice stole my heart from the beginning. Indy is very determined.
The little chickens in the basket !!! The tole trays ! The rose bowl ! That Indy!!! Loves his daddy !! Love your tree !! So many great finds !! And that house was fabulous !! Thanks for bringing us back in !
What a proud moment for Indy, now Eric has no where to escape too. Indy has a new place to explore and new spots to find. Great finds at the sale! Love the bowl with the brass base, very unusual.
All the stars are aligned for you on most days !☘️ It was nice to hear from Eric. I would love him to spin off and talk about the craftsmenship in the homes you visit. Very smart man.
Great haul Cris! So many nice things and such good prices. I loved that house too with all the stairs and rooms. So nice. The trays and the chickens and the artwork are my faves and the bowl in the brass holder. Wow!
What a wonderful day you and your husband had, as one of my grand mother’s would say, “ Darling you gad a red letter day”! What a glorious adventure, thank you for the history of the Green in New Haven. Love those Tole trays, will definitely check out your EBay Shop! 👏❤️👏.
Wow! What an incredible house. I love all the storage and those labeled cubbies....that's a type A compulsive organizer's dream. I really enjoy your videos.....I've learned so much. Thank you for sharing.
One of your most amazing hauls yet! Thank you for the history of the New Haven green … I’ve seen an aerial view on TV many times. The footage of the home was fascinating and it would be wonderful to know about its architectural history and the family that lived there.
I'm so glad you enjoyed my hauls! It was a beautiful home and fun to delve into the history of the New Haven Green. I've lived here all of my life and didn't know much of the information I shared before I did some research.
Oh. My. Goodness!!! What a fantastic haul. You found some wonderful things. Since I’m a tole tray collector I love the trays. I really enjoyed the historical information on the green. Thanks for another cheerful great video.
Wow! This was a great haul. I really loved all of your great purchases. The rose bowl and stand will look beautiful as part of your holiday decor. I often put candles in my rose bowls and it makes a lovely centerpiece. Indy is so entertaining with his quest to open the door and enter the basement. ❤ all the fur babies.
I'm so glad you enjoyed my purchases! I used the rose bowl for my Thanksgiving centerpiece and it was perfect! I'll probably use it again for Christmas.
That was an interesting house. I especially liked the individual cubbies in that large linen closet! The green and brass tray would look perfect in my home! Indie is a sweetie!
Used to live in CT and had a field job where New Haven and Hamden were in my territory. Always wondered what those gorgeous homes looked like inside so thanks for the tour! Also The Brownstone has been there forever on the busy corner of Whitney and Dixwell! Great haul!
Painted tole trays was a popular tradition that was revived in the 1950s and 60's as a popular hobby. Its hard to date the Mid Century ones from the antique ones...usually the ones with the most wear are the antique examples.
Wonderful trip to New Haven, Kris. Like you, I was very impressed with the light-filled rooms of the home. And your purchases are interesting. Love all the trays especially.
Hi Kris, What an interesting video. The New Haven house was so striking and you picked up some beautiful items! Love the trays especially! And when you showed the Savin Rock History book, I got so excited for you!! Nice find. And how weird about the NH green! Who would guess what or should I say who, was underfoot. Eeek. Anyway, great haul!! Deb
Yes Chris I enjoyed your video the history of New Haven was interesting cause I live in Connecticut .i liked all your purchases can’t decide which was the best thanx❤
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It was definitely one of my favorite old homes, but the top spot still goes to the estate sale I went to in a colonial home in East Haddam. If you haven't seen that one, definitely check it out!
Thanks Kris, that was a beautiful home 🏡. I hope the new buyer doesn’t rip out all the original details but lovingly restores everything because the house appears to be in excellent condition. I loved all your Belleek, those pretty trays and the rose bowl. The eagle lamp was so cool 😎
The house is on the National Register of Historic Places, so hopefully whoever buys it will respect its original character. I'm glad you enjoyed my finds!

OH,MY! What a house and the wonderful things you found. That certainly was a winner.
It was such a great sale! I'm so glad we went!
The Beleek teapot and creamer and sugar would look beautiful on that tray with the green velvet lining.
Definitely! It would really pop against the green!

I'm so glad I was able to take you into one of the homes! I've been going to the Brownstone since I was 19 - don't do the math! 🤣🤣
Great haul! The trays caught my eye ❤
I couldn't scoop them up fast enough! So many nice ones!
Very nice haul!
Loved the fur babies update. Only got a glimpse of Iris!
Thanks for all your hard work!
Iris is sometimes harder to film because she sleeps so soundly! She'll be in the next one!

There were so many nice ones in this particular house. I wish I could have seen them when they were all displayed.

What a fabulous house!! I would so love to see the east coast. Living in the pacific northwest I rarely see homes like that. Amazing haul as well!!

You ask what I think…I think you and Eric need to buy that house! That’s what I think.👍🏻🤔
Haha! Eric would never, ever part with this house because of the barn! It's his fave!
This house is very reminiscent of the Hildeen house in Manchester, Vermont
I've never been there! I'll have to look it up!
You mentioned emailing - is the email listed somewhere I’m missing
