corvetts and frigates are weaker destroyers that have limited range. USA only employs destroyers as it doesnt expect any war in its borders- therefore firgates and corvettes would be useless to US. these type of comparison are useless tho, cause just counting the numbers make no sense. 1 aircraft carrier is equal to a destroyer when in reality- a super carrier costs about 15x more than a destroyer and carriers an entire army.
No it doesn't, any ship class that would have been classified as a Corvette have not been used in over 40 years. The U.S. surface fleet is made up of mainly Destoyers and Cruisers. Only ships that be even close to Corvettes are the Independence and Freedom Classes and they are designated LCS's

Me too. The air force uses f 5's for pilot training, but since when did the U.S. get 24 carriers. I was in the navy, and I believe at last count, it was 12, with enterprise laid up in newport news, and JFK in storage in Philadelphia.
J C the LHD and LHA are counted as aircraft carriers, so there is at least the USS Wasp class and the USS America class.

There’s only one nuclear aircraft carrier ( Charles de Gaulle ) and three helicopters carriers who are called in french BPC which means commandment and projection ship . I hope you’ll read this. Thanks. ( If there are grammatical errors, that’s because I’m french )

The U.S. does have Corvette ships. Also this video doesn't take Nuclear weapons into account.
corvetts and frigates are weaker destroyers that have limited range. USA only employs destroyers as it doesnt expect any war in its borders- therefore firgates and corvettes would be useless to US. these type of comparison are useless tho, cause just counting the numbers make no sense. 1 aircraft carrier is equal to a destroyer when in reality- a super carrier costs about 15x more than a destroyer and carriers an entire army.
No it doesn't, any ship class that would have been classified as a Corvette have not been used in over 40 years. The U.S. surface fleet is made up of mainly Destoyers and Cruisers. Only ships that be even close to Corvettes are the Independence and Freedom Classes and they are designated LCS's
They left out whole classes of ships. No cruisers, amphibious assault ships or helicopter carriers and who even use corvettes anymore?
Military power is all about force projection. There is only one nation than can project force on a global scale. I'll let you all figure that one out.
