Agree with everyone here- learned so much from this vid and expected a subtitled video lol The way Bullmark was formed from former employees reminds me of other people that took what they knew to start up their own companies. I always thought it was Bullmark that created the first Ultraman sofubis haha And regarding the Ultra Ace bit, that was fascinating.
Thanks!! yeah man! I was surprised too! turns out that he graduated from NYU! so he spent his college years living in New York! I've got loads more interview footage that i'll be using in a couple other videos.
That's a special Godzilla based on some vintage artwork. It was sold around 2005. I remember seeing one in a store back then, and wanting it bad, but alas was out of my budget. Maybe one day!
Sorry about that. The music was supposed to fade when Kaminaga-san started to speak, but there was an editing glitch. You can hear the music volume drop dramatically at 3:34 - as for the speed being off, I think that is on your end. Hope you were able to understand everything. I tried to add visual aid and important text to help as well.
I was expecting a japanese audio and english subtitled video, did not expect that he speaks fluent english. Nice interview!
Yes! He actually graduated from New York University! Glad you enjoyed it!!

Great interview! I met him briefly at Superfestival a few years back, I was surprised he speaks such good English.

That was so great! Wow, I didn’t now Kaminaga-san was fluent in English! And I totally want that new Ultra Ace.
Great video. Really interesting to hear his story. A great record for collectors.
Excellent video on a company we don't hear much about in North America. Loved the interview.

Thanks for making that video!! Who is the kaiju at the end of the video that looks like Godzilla with a base (round) supporting its tail??

Between the music drowning out the dialogue, plus the speed being off. I had to set playback to .75 to make out what he was saying.

In the year 1966 Is godzilla the first Marusan soft vinyl toy figure ever made or Ultraman the first Marusan soft vinyl toy figure ever made
Ultra Q monsters first, then Ultraman and Godzilla. Kaminaga-san gives more details in the video.
@@TOKYOTOYBANZAI sorry for the late comment but thank you
