You can tell he enjoys the hell out of nailing those parts and the long raps that bring him to the edge of his breath. There's something extremely charismatic about Ren doing live takes and I think it's largely due to how free he is with emotion in his music paired with how wild his range and expression are. It has been said and said again how well he portrays pain and anguish, but there's also a lot of playfulness and glee in the music that really contrasts with the darkness. A working representation of the pendulum from the Hi Ren speech, built into the music.

Just found your music yesterday through Hi Ren and the OG Genesis video…You’re blowing me away dude. I am 32 years old and have been listening to music, specifically rap and hip hop since I was like 9 years old. I grew up on Eminem, Pac, Nas and I haven’t been captivated by a new artist in a very long time.
I have been dealing with PTSD, BPD, ADHD, depression and anxiety my entire life. Dr after Dr for years. Bad choices in life and struggles everyday. Yet music(and good ‘ol Mary J) has always been there to make things easier.
Now I have you and your music! And I am so grateful for that. Thank you and much Love from the West Coast of the US.

As someone with peripheral neuropathy and 14 diff conditions including organ failure, that neuropathy line hit hard, after suffering from the age of 23-34 I've waited 11 years for the lyric "life is ironically fucking me chronically!"💖💖

100% Harry's a nice guy but as you said has found a way to rhyme words but that's it and he is quite cheesy but just having fun. Harry doesn't make it in my favourite rapper list lol.

I think the biggest praise I have is that I often don’t know or care if a performance is studio recorded or live, cause it sounds so good either way. It shows confidence as a performer and lets anyone who doubts your talent see for themselves that none of it is faked.

I just cannot stop watching on repeat. EVERYTHING!!! I stumbled upon Hi Ren about 3 weeks ago and that was the first that I had heard of him. I am completely obsessed with the amount of talent and versatility that is in everything that he does. The stories that he tells within his music and the humble person that he is has taken over my heart. Truly gifted is an understatement, Ren is a gift to this world! I am 51 years old and from Birmingham, Alabama. I may never get a chance to see this talented young man perform live, but I will absolutely support him in every way possible. This guy continues to blow my mind, I go from being impressed by your lyrics to my eyes tearing up when you hit certain notes, what talent, finally something new and original that truly stirs the soul. I was born in the 80s and tbh had my doubts about new generation carrying the musical torch forward, but with Ren I happily stand corrected my brother.
