    This is the best Kapotasana tutorial I've seen. I also tend to collapse into my low back, so will have to work on my hips being in neutral position, as you showed. Thanks :)

    Thank you for this, I was having that very same problem with the pain in the lower back while trying to get the posture. The class I attend is quite large and only one instructor. So she doesn't always get around to everyone for adjustments and corrections. I will practice this as much as possible to improve this pose. Thanks again.

    HI Maria,
    I have watched many instruction videos on Ashtanga, and I have to say your videos are one of best ones. Most motably is the pacing of your video which is spot on - nothing more nothing less. The techniques you provide are extremely helpful and supplemented by commentaryI find truly encouraging and inspirational. Please keep publishing!

      kolorkin I agree with all of you. It's an excellent preparation to the final pose BUT only because she uses Iyengar method. In fact, the video should be called Iyengar, not Ashtanga. Don't be surprised, all Iyengar classes are like this one! Thank you Iyengar

    This is great, I'm going to incorporate this into my practice. I also taught Ustrasana with the block used in the same way as Maria uses it in Kapotasana, and it was so much more accessible. Please tell Maria a big "Thank You!" on my behalf

    As far as I know this asana is called vrustasana ( camel pose)
    Any way what deference it makes 😊😊
