- My client spent years looking for someone to restore this statue. Lucky for her I’m an #artist and a #makeupartist. Lol
I recorded with my iPhone 6 the parts where there was over spray and the rest of the #restoration process was filmed on my Canon G7X MarkII.
All the paint purchased was from Hobby Lobby. The brushes from Michaels Craft store. The yellow paint tape was from Sherwin Williams. The blue tape and plastic is from Home Depot but you can also find them at Sherwin.

You dont know the difference between adoration and veneration
We're not to make things to worship. It's not a wholesale ban on making reverent images, otherwise God would not have ordered the making of cherubim to sit atop the Ark of the Covenant. No-one is going to worship this statue; just as I don't worship the photos of my grandmother in my living room. It will, however, be a reverent reminder of heavenly things.
That's scary no idol's in the Bible ..
Lorraine Desmoulin contrary to popular belief it’s not an idol, the bible prohibits the worshipping of idols, Catholics do not worship anyone other than Jesus Christ! His mother along with all the other saints are just respected for who they were and what they represent and people ask for their prayers. Just like you probably have pictures of yourself and your family, the statues are just a visual to remember who those saints were. If you read the Bible correctly you will see that god ordered for statues of angels to be built.

There were figures of cherumbim on the Ark of the Covenant. They were ordered by God himself. There is a different between icons and idols. God is not an iconoclast.
