That race at Brainerd was one of the wildest I've ever seen. Holeshot wins and pedal fests in basically every round of racing. This was also the same race where Bobby Dodrill destroyed the "Miss Misery" outlaw 4x4 truck. Glad to see the progression of the sport, and the progression of Brainerd (my home track), which is now a MUCH safer and stickier place to race. Thank you for mentioning my channel!

The Ratings would be sky high have you come into the race kind of the same way they JJ DaBoss come into the 405's racing it was classic and the show really shot sky high after that. Not something like dig or die or something like the no prep race at Thunder valley they just had where they ran from the finish line to the starting line. Also even at some of those races where guys are using Some kind of TC on the starting line your shoe can stick there at times also on the starting line. What it’s like at the 60ft and 300ft or less is usually much different but that’s where most of the et comes from. If you can stick the first 200ft with power. You will be much faster than someone with more power that can’t bring it in until after that. There were a lot of tracks like this many years back that Stevie is talking about too. Running radial 15-20 years was like running no prep today as far as power management went and what it took to get down the track with what you had to work with back then. The progression has been amazing to see over the years.
You and a few of your buds should go to a no prep and show them how it’s done. Just to shut them up. Then talk trash on how they can’t come run with the big dogs
you have to match the volume of the intro and out to the sound level of the rest of the video.....they are loud af and then video starts....after we all turn our volume down because its loud af....then we cant hear the video after the intro....then the end video comes and blast the crap out of us.... easy fix...please do this

Shoulda raced in the 60’s-90’s all 1/8 mile IHRA tracks were no prep back then and NHRA only prepped to 60ft we had bias ply slicks/tires before you were alive Stevie radials did come out till like the early 50’s before then everything was bias ply, to hook up an un-prepped track you gotta burn the hell out your tires *( and really get them hot and sticky and don’t run M/T’s or Hoosiers they suck for traction on no prep surfaces Goodyear and Firestone are the way to go if you really wanna hook up good )* I would do a 7-10 sec standing burnout before I ever let my car move I never had traction issues I was on my bars till the 60’ mark every launch

The “no prep” tracks starting line will still pull your shoes off, im pretty sure its alot stickier than this track you were running….
