Harrison, I came across your channel last week and immediately subscribed, I don't know how old you are, but for a young man your confidence and humour are awesome!!! One of the best TH-camrs I've come across for a while - I love it!!! More please 😄
Please learn the definition of the term "literally", because unless he went back in time to when he was a child and was transported into a candy store, he most certainly was not literally a kid in a candy store!
@@Nicolacurran1 Not sure if you're joking because it's not that serious...... He is "like" a kid in a candy store. DIdn't know I was in an english exam in the comments. Have a lovely day.
This is not just a food review channel ....This is a cultural documentary that makes me appreciate our planet and I will support this channel till I'm an old woman. 👍🥰🥰
Oh this food looks just absolutely insane. And the fact that you try to properly describe each bite so we can at least get a whiff of what it tastes like is so great
8:43 Harrison, if I saw a man getting a full plate of salad I'd ask him out 😂 Mumma taught him to eat his veggies and he appreciates them. Sophisticated 👌
My lifelong dream has to been to go to London!! 😭 it would be truly a dream come true to come! As a mom of 2 it’s hard to prioritize yourself! Good luck to anyone who is entering ❤️ I’ve watched your videos around 10 years now (Jennxpenn days)! So much love to you
You are so friendly to the chefs and staff. I'm sure he gave you an extra slice of gammon for being so nice. 😂 Crevettes are shrimp. Other guests are sitting very close to you. Not much space between tables. Mate you were so pissed at dessert time. 😂
I noticed that too. For that price point, I would have expected more space between tables. The tables were so close you may as well have been sitting next to a stranger at the same table.
Went to the Ned feast the day after our wedding reception (we’d spend 3 nights at the hotel) and it was sooo good. The staff are lovely and the dessert station is 👌🏻 was a great how the other half live for a treat 😂
Watching Harrison videos makes me so happy, we are planning a trip to the UK from Australia, and am making note of the best of the best so I have a Food bucket list of places to visit for a better word. Love the Videos, so informative and entertaining......Thank you
Went once years ago with my then girlfriend. And although I loved the meats (not the turkey though) I learned about parsnips! I got looked at because my plate was loaded with veg instead of meat! But I would go back and do it again in a heartbeat! (I'm from the Netherlands, we don't have this type of restaurant)
Harrison i stumbled across your channel a day or so ago and i just had to subscribe. You are naturally so funny and you seem so genuine. I want a clone of you 😅
Sunday Roasts. Call me old fashion but I totally love over cooked veg where the flavours mix. Sunday... salad.. no way! My choice would be I'd dress up and wear a shirt and tie to the first one.
Hello ! It's 6.25 pm Sunday, 3rd of November here. What's your favourite seafood ? And do you eat at buffet restaurants Down Under, or are just craving chips ? 😅 Love from Oslo, Norway ❤😊
Watching Harrison whilst a little stoned has become a tradition. If I ever get to England take me to dinner, I’m a cheap drunk, I’m as awkward as you, but I can peel a prawn and I once swallowed a thesaurus. On a side note, I am currently eating a roast potato with gravy and mint sauce toasted sandwich with a side plate of Greek custard and blueberry filo pie covered in New Zealand boysenberry ice cream. My heart belongs to schnitzel though. Stay groovy ❤️🌼
I love watching your videos!!! They really make my day. I’ve been wanting to get your cookbook, just need to get back on my feet but HARRISON I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!! 🥺💖💖💖
Great video! I bet Harrison needed a big nap after Neds and probably didn't need to eat for about a week. That'd be enough food to keep me going for days. Thanks for sharing! 🙂😋❤
I definitely am putting Ned’s on my bucket list now. That looked scrumptious! That would make an ideal birthday brunch. As an aside, how do you not know what a crevette lads? 🤣 & you ate the shell….so funny. Also you can buy salmon en croute in supermarkets these days. Best made with flaky pastry I think.
I would love to go out for dinner with you but I don't live in the UK unfortunately! I hope whoever wins has the most incredible experience. Thank you, Harrison ❤
Toby carvery’s are rubbish and I don’t rate their signature gravy either. If you’re desperate for a cheap roast and visit a Toby don’t expect quality. Avoid as much as you can and look for an alternative venue.
I had avo toast for breakfast and lunch. Also had one egg and a rash of bacon on the slice of toast. Sooo good. Might have another slice for dinner and midnight snack
Lobster Mac and cheese sounds delicious even at 11am 😂also the fact I always wake up on weekends to a new Harrison video makes me so happy! What a great wake up call 😊
Ehrm, okey this is my pitch. I’d LOVE to be able to come to London and eat the best food in London with you. I’ve been watching you for years and I’ve never been tired of your content. You keep it so enthusiastic and funny, the way you eat food lowkey makes me jealous. I think I’d be super fun to get drunk together and eat great food. Anddd cut. Keep up the good content!!
Brilliant channel, H - how come you emphasize comparable prices in US Dollars, as opposed to £ Sterling (as on your latest video) - Thought you were based in the UK?
I had a guy working at a 5 star hotel in london promise me a dinner out only to cancel last minute because he was in a bad mood. Ive been to London many times to visit friends (im a yank living in Germany) but I live on disability so I eat on the cheap there. Ive yet to experience afternoon tea and any kind of posh dining experience. Its not necessary but I definately would be interested to see if its worth it. I love sunday roasts in uk. I enjoy your reviews. Im sure whoever gets to go eat at a posh place with you will have a great time.
My son was the head chef at that Toby about 12 years ago, even after he left it was one of my favourites, until I tried the Warrington branch a couple of weeks ago
I wonder if the equivalent to Toby Carvery is Boston Market in the States. Mind you, Boston Market was awesome 30 years ago, so I don’t know if the quality is the same. We also had something called Hot Shoppes that were in a lot of shopping malls on the East Coast when I was a kid. It was cafeteria style dining and absolutely delicious and a great way to end the day of shopping in the mall with your family. (I grew up in D.C. so it might have been regional.) They were run by the Marriot Corporation and eventually branched out to make inflight meals and then made frozen meals (Stoeffers). It was indeed some of the best food I remember having as a kid. We do make Sunday dinners here as well, maybe not with stuffing, but a chicken or beef roast with the fixings as well. Often we have Sunday dinners at our families home with extended family members. As we get older and move into the adult years, and as the older parents and grandparents pass away, we don’t continue the tradition as we used to.
The only take away I got from the video… Take a guy on your first date to the ned, you will be able to tell you if he’s 5”11 based on if he can reach the gravy
Great video. I live in the States and my mil taught me how to do a proper Roast & Yorkshire pudding with gravy. To die for. I need to buy a roast & get cooking.
