We love ALDIs in the US , it’s more affordable then others that’s for sure !

8:12 yeah i hate cheap fish fingers too but they’re all i can afford 😩 so whenever i cook them i layer them with butter and seasonings as they bake, it helps!

The chilli cheese is actually really nice I put small bits on with some gouda or maasdam to spice it up. The pickled onion cheese in the same section is absolutely way nicer than you'd think too.
We have Aldi in Australia, full of, off-brand products, and random things. Looks really similar if not almost the exact same as the uk which is interesting to see

13:00 in 🇨🇦we called them POPTARTS- not sure but back in the day (over 50 yrs ago 😜) they were the best thing going - there were five of us and six pop tarts (3 pkg of 2) - you can imagine the tears over who got that 6th pop tart 😜 maybe that’s why we only had them in the summer and mostly the three weeks we were camping - back in the day our version were definitely A DEAL 🇨🇦🙏 thnx this a fun video

Cheap yes but the quality of Waitrose is far better. If we look at food as medicine then you put quality over price.

Waitrose is better, but Aldi do a pretty good job for the price....
I recently changed to Ocado/M&S for that reason. I got fed up with throwing away food because the quality is poor and it was going off well before the due dates. The quality at Ocado is hugely better.....and I mean hugely. Most of the produce is so fresh that it lasts well beyond the dates. I found that by buying wisely and taking advantage of their generous offers I am actually saving money and also eliminating food waste. I build my meal plans around their special offers - job done!

Love Aldi. Fabulous wine selection that’s affordable. Great prices in general. A lot of their own brand or off brands are as good as the big company brands. Also they had toilet paper during the pandemic!
Aldi do a pretty good job, I don't know how they keep the prices so low and have a shop that is pleasant....the Specially Selected range is as good as all the other supermarkets

Aldi is decent but I do find they're fruit and veg doesn't stay fresh, they've nailed the diet sodas though I prefer them over the branded.

its funny to know I was living abroad there in London and would shop at Waitress, not knowing it was the most expensive supermarket. I just noticed that Aldi produce would spoil SO quick.
That's why I never shop there. The fresh produce goes bad so quickly.

We have Aldi in Germany and yes it's cheap but honestly I personally think their quality of food is bad. A few exceptions ofc but I can't stand how horrible the meat tastes from them as example.
