The Devonshire steak looked amazing and I loved the way it was cooked over oak coals. Grass-fed beef here in the US has gotten more popular, but it just doesn’t have that rich and deep taste that grain fed (really, “finished”) has. In America grain-fed beef has been a staple forever so we are use to that texture and flavor. I’ve had some top pasture raised grass-fed beef at a restaurant in Cambria California from Hearst Ranch and it was great, but again just lacked the richness. It is also interesting that the steaks are cut up before serving. Most streak houses in America just serve the whole steak, uncut, and everyone gets their own steak. One of the few exceptions is the famous Peter Luger’s in New York.

Example could be a chef/normal traveling together for a 2-4 part video series and then culminating with a battle back in the studio (Normal with recipe and Chef without?). Lots of options on how you bring that knowledge back to the studio, but the main idea being 2+ people traveling to a region and bringing that cuisine knowledge back with them to be used in studio. Another option on how to bring that knowledge back would be the Chef who travels teaching normal's who didn't travel, and the normal who traveled teaching the chef(s) who didn't travel :).
