- A tropical depression or storm is expected to form near the Yucatan Peninsula by next Tuesday or Wednesday. Steering patterns take the system into the Gulf and strengthen it after that, with most models indicating impacts for the central and northeastern Gulf coast, including Florida, later next week to perhaps the start of October. This video breaks down the science behind the forecast and some possible scenarios.
please, no more hurricane Michael’s. I thought I woke up in hell!
Thanks for reporting on the potential storm in the Gulf of Mexico
Ummm.. all the models I’ve seen elsewhere have shown it go west. Texas or Mexico. And a weak system at best.
Accuweather is predicting a major hurricane
@@beaulong the GFS is showing a northern Gulf landfall. Miss ,Alabama or panhandle of florida
I have looking at the model you have been showing us and I know that's what thay are putting out and I really don't think that know were or how strong it will be because the models are all over the place and I see a lot of people are saying it will hit Florida and I have been looking at Fox weather in Louisiana thay don't even know were it is goin or how strong it going to be
Josh ,what are you seeing that makes you confident on a NE. turn? Most everyone says the storm will be going west ?
Thanks weatherman Josh
Will East Florida still get a major hurricane 🌀 and a lot of heavy rain 🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️
I would like to know too. Melbourne here
It is too soon to say
Any hurricane that hits the west coast and is a major hurricane 🌀 will definitely cover all east coast too
@@dianaines8541 thanks for the info! I know the west coast is not used to as much water as the east coast. I subbed to you stay in contact. 🙂
I just pray it doesn't hit me, the trailer I rent is already on its last leg and evacuating is impossible when you don't have a car, plus shelters make you put your pets in a different part of the building if they even let you in. I refuse to leave my pets, so I always ride it out 😬
Josh I'm really scared about Johnson City Tennessee out of the system as of now what do you think will happen??
The "return on your investment" displacers.
No worries
Thx for update
You mic sounds tinny
If this goes up by Florida will South Carolina be in a hurricane watch or warning?
Too soon to say at this point. My guess right now is no.
Why where there no strong hurricanes this year.this year was not what they it's a little active but still nothing strong.
Just the earliest Cat 5 on record
@@joshsseverewx ya just one berly and that hurricane hit the the Caribbean. It hit Houston as a category 2
Sometimes you get a strong one, sometimes you don’t.
All depends on weather and all factors coming together in the right way.
Gonna be a big nothing burger
If it turns West it will make a loop back to the Gulf of Mexico
Need a good tropical storm or cat 1 in pcola
Been a while since we’ve had one.
@@TylerShupe YOU ARE INSANE, NO
Model surfing a ghost storm
We're all screwed in Florida. Jesus IS coming soon!!!!!!!!!!!!
Relax bro
This ain’t nothing new for Florida
shut up and calm down
I’m pretty sure it will be Helene.
@@maga4u using screwed and Jesus in the same sentence is what you should worry about…
Going to be a cat 5
doubt it
Nah. At the moment, if these models are anything to go on, It’ll be lucky if it gets past a Cat 1. It’s either gonna go north/northeast as a weaker system, or go west depending on the pull to the north.
